To the cynics in here: "Jeremy Pruitt didn't want people to know that (that he had given staff members his own money) but was advised to by others due to the article that came out.
well, mr. toppenmeyer threw the shade. someone had to show some light on the "rest of the story". basiclaly made it where he didn't have a choice. the PR war is easy to win if only one side fights it.

but much like the pay cuts themselves, the act pruitt committed with the checks happened a while ago and is only news now because of the slant Blake put on the percepiton of pruitt and the staff.

i found it interesting that Pruitt said he didn't know who declined hte pay cuts until blake's "article" was put out there....

You are ignoring that Hubbs said in that interview that JG is starting if healthy

I hope they just start HB. I have nothing but respect for JG, dude has given his all to UT. His career is probably the most ruined by the coaching mishaps of any player to play here. But he's not the future, and if you don't start working on getting the next QB figured out you'll start 2021 flat like you did 2019...and in year 4 I have zero doubt the results of starting 1-4 will be something Pruitt & co survive.

Auburn is 3rd in SEC in pass defense. I'm sure they'll be playing very aggressive in coverage daring us to throw.
And we are 9th-11th in the SEC (ypa or QBR). I can't get over how our pass D is so porous. Thinking it is more on LB/star though than our 2 Junior CBs.

easy to look smart with the tools he had. Dobbs Kamara Hurd plus some good receivers.
The point is he USED those best practices. He used eye candy, motion, RBs out of the backfield, optionality, etc. He stressed the defense to communicate and be disciplined. Those things can improve any offense/talent.

He also could have had those same guys, but ran inside left, zone right, hailmary on 3rd, made it easy on the defense, and produced a lot less.

When does the hammer come down on LSU? Basketball cheating, the reports they were paying players on football that came out a few weeks ago and now sexual assaults.

Report: LSU ignored sexual assault complaints
I kinda figured every coach in America would have taken notice of what went on at Baylor and their end result. When you place winning over rape, you're pretty much at rock bottom on the human being scale.

Guy on sports radio earlier said there's talk that the SEC isn't willing to let Freeze back in to the league yet. No idea if there's any truth to it whatsoever.
Going by the SEC bylaw posted yesterday, they have zero final say. It was more of "should" and "it is suggested".

Everyone is cheating, he just got caught, so Double Gauldens toward BHam and roll.

So about every football program until maybe 2000?
