Hey I agree with that. I’m the same way. I’m cool with everyone til they get sideways with me. I can appreciate a different viewpoint as long as it’s not completely incorrect and ridiculous. Nothing wrong with a different viewpoint especially if it’s an intelligent take.

I’ll just post Gif’s f*** it...paper is honestly where all my likes come from to be honest so I assumed he was a fan, now my hearts broken because he’s displeased with my generosity and long rants..I’ll do better

Obviously racist..not surprised 👀😅

Honest question...Freeze was 39-25 over 5 seasons. That’s 8-5 average. Get it was at ole miss and it’s the 5th best job in division. But that was while cheating...I don’t care that he was, in fact, I hope we are. Just curious why everyone thinks he is urban, Dabo or Saban.

Do we expect a Mullen type improvement? Mullen did about that at state and then got to the 2nd best job in his division and has a QB and they are top 5?
Yes, Mullen and Freeze both won at some of the worst SEC jobs that exist.

Buuut Mullen was 0-9 vs Saban. Average loss by 21.5 points.

Freeze was 2-3 vs Saban. Lost first 2 bigly, but won the next 2 and lost the final game by just 5.

Freeze was also 3-2 vs Mullen DESPITE Mullen starting 4 years ahead of Freeze.

Yep. Freeze was beating teams at Ole Miss that he had no business beating, even factoring in the cheating. He beat Alabama one of those times without Laremy Tunsil. He also dropped some games he "shouldn't have," but not quite on a Mike Leach-level.

2012: #25 Miss St
2013: at Texas, #6 LSU
2014: Boise St, #3 Alabama, at #14 Texas A&M, #4 Miss St
2015: at #2 Alabama, #15 Texas A&M, #15 LSU, at #21 Miss St, #16 Oklahoma St
2016: #12 Georgia, at #10 Texas A&M

Was his 2016 final season a letdown? Were some of the losses (at Memphis in 2015, losing 42-3 to TCU in the Peach Bowl, losing 30-0 to a mediocre Arky team when ranked #8, etc.) painful? Yes, but if you give me those along with those wins listed above I'll take it. Tennessee has gone 0-36 against top 10 teams since 2006, and Freeze beat 5 top 10 teams in 5 years at Ole Miss.

Ya know honestly, I think Pruitt should just be a DC. Hell I'd be happy for him to be the DC here.

Freeze could come HC here ya let Pruitt stay as DC and he can keep the guys he wants on that side of the ball. I'm sure Freeze would keep Jay/Tee even. Probably wouldn't be against Chaney staying to be OC.
As extremely unlikely as it is, that would be the homerun move if you could pull it off. Tell Pruitt he can go back to just coaching ball.

Win-win imo...not sure he ever wanted to be a CEO coach to begin with...

Mullen and Freeze did comparable jobs. The biggest difference between them is that Freeze won the big ones at OM whereas Mullen didn't quite manage that at State. Freeze had higher potential while Mullen always had a high floor with questions about how he'd perform at a larger school. But Freeze beating Alabama at OM is on par with Vanderbilt beating them. OM and State were totally forgotten about members until Freeze and Mullen made them relevant for a few years. At Tennessee, Freeze wouldn't have to beg, borrow, and steal to get players. He'd also be taught how to successfully use a burner phone.

If he was at Tennessee, he'd have instant cachet on the recruiting trail. Yes, we've sucked for 10+ years, but Tennessee still has a "brand" that Ole Miss does not. He wouldn't need to cheat (as much - everybody cheats) at Tennessee.

People fixate on Freeze's cheating, and he certainly cheated his ass off for players. However he still won games there where he clearly had less depth and talent on the field than his opponent, particularly those wins he had against Alabama and LSU.

I'm not being mean, I honestly didn't understand what you were saying and I didn't want to leave my bud on read

I speak in puns and references...I’ve got a come back for everything and analogies that connect with what your implying in any type

I'll transfer 1 bitcoin for Freeze as a done deal.

Now...will it actually go to hiring Freeze or just strippers n cocaine? Honestly, I'm fine with investing for either at this point...2020 mindset.

You're not by chance related to Terry Pedigo, are you?

*don't @ him. He'll be in here setting up Waffle House appointments

Sounds good on paper but wouldn’t work. Would be too confusing to the team and even if unintentionally power struggles would doom

It's intro Java. I'm having trouble. It sucks because I have 2 weeks left and am passing with a 90 but now I've hit a brick wall ...working with loops this chapter.

Are you having trouble understanding looping in general or just the way that Java goes about it? I don’t know anything about Java specifically. I mainly develop in C# and a little bit of Python for server side.

unfortunately money is going to be the reason he sticks around for another year. Not only would we have to pay his buyout we’d have to pay the current staff, plus the buyout of our next coach and I almost forgot we’re still paying Lyle’s buyout.
But won't much of it still be there next year? The lyle buyout is moot, it is happening regardless. The future coach's buyout is there or not regardless. With a differential analysis, the main difference may only be in our coaches' buyouts being lowered.

I'd be curious to see a financial analysis of firing now vs 12 months from now. Obviously a lot of unknowns with ticket sales and all, but just straight up how much difference there would be in the buyouts YoY.

The cheating at OM was obvious because no non-brand school in bumfudge Mississippi picks up those kind of recruits coming off a mediocre season and Freeze handled the accusations with hubris -- basically daring everyone and their brother to come and investigate. Class jumps like that just don't happen and what was going on was obvious. However, you're right that even with those big pickups, he was severely undermanned and managed to out coach opponents.

Same. Loops, or nested loops, are the same concept anywhere...but I don't know Java syntax in particular.

I'm old school...VB...C+...learning Python and R just for industry.

But if you have a 90 so far and aren't getting errors (just not the output you want), you probably have a good grasp on the syntax. Issues with algorithms can be a lot trickier though.
