Unless Freeze fails.8-11 wins a year keeps Neyland full, donations high, and everyone successful. And that is even without ever winning a national championship. I don’t understand why it’s hard to get a coach who can do that and see how well this University does. Shoot, we made money with some of the worst coaches in our history. Imagine what we will make when we win. Fire Pruitt, Hire Freeze, Neyland is full, $$$ is flowing and all is good.
I think we should just fire the entire staff, including the head coach, and start over. I know that is a chilling idea, but ICY a great option out there. It is so incredibly ironic that the same people who refused to take a paycut to help the program also goaded players into playing through COVID related fear and doubt because opting out would have hurt the program.
They're hypocrites and they need to be dealt with.
Hey that’s fine, keep that same energy. When we fire Pruitt next year and hire a potato again, we will be right back here, and you’ll say the same thing after we go 0-12 for the first time ever.People like him cling to the one post that makes AV and other helpful folks look wrong. It validates them in some way. They tend to ignore all of the other ones that were proven to be correct and especially those that do not fit their personal agendas.
Eh, agreed to disagree on some areas - especially on any positive results the rest of the way. You can do good things in a moment of desperation but not consistently perform that way in the future. The probability of it happening is just about nil, but if Pruitt somehow won out this season, including a victory over UF, I'd be back on board. At least for another season. I mean, he's gonna get another season, no matter what, because of the university and Fulmer. I've been adamant about that point. UT doesn't care what the fans want. Pruitt will not be fired this season. But if he somehow won out, I'd be excited for next season all over again.

IIRC, it started out as a top 10 movie list last night between @bignewt and @Bassmaster_Vol .Started out as a list about '80's movies. Sling Blade is late '90's.
I might. The difference between you and me is that I forget what I said because I am old and you forget because of weed.Hey that’s fine, keep that same energy. So how does Pruitt go without losing? He won't. So he needs to lose because we need Freeze. It's that simple.don't ever, yet you hope we do. All righty then.
I am not conflicted. I always want to win. But, Pruitt has to go. This one is too far gone to revive.
But we didn’t have a chance to win it every year...that’s recent day fan fiction. Bama, Florida or UGA always had Majors or Fulmer’s number at one point or another and that included Cut and Chavis being outmaneuvered. Fan sentiment was that we were never going to be quite good enough. We just didn’t have the internet to broadcast our lackings. I’m sure if we had, there would have been nostalgia for the Neyland years in unlimited threads. Miami was nothing until Schnellenberger hit that formula and a real dynasty erupted. They almost dissolved their program and almost again in response to the loss of control due to their success. You’re never doomed. Do it right and repeat as necessary and we’ll win. On the Freeze note, I agree. He would be the first HC to give us superior X’s and O’s advantage since Dickey...unless you’re a Kiffin sycophant.I would kill to win 10 games a year and have a chance to win it all every year. That's all anyone's asking for. Freeze brings that.
