Shoulda fired Pruitt after the Arkansas game and let Tee finish the season out if they want to go that route, and give him a few games to see if he can handle it. honestly, if I were Tee, I wouldn't take the job if offered. If it doesn't work out, he'd be hated by the fan base. We would eat our own...

Being a VFL is a terrible criteria for becoming Head coach here.

Well, we already know where Freeze is at in regards to this job...it’s his dream job, so let’s make it happen!!

@LA Vol could speak more to this because I think his sources bridge over to the academic side and the decision makers who have to consider the whole university, but Freeze would really have to win over a ton of people to get this job.

Hiring Tee would be a mistake. We need a proven winning coach. Tee is a lateral move.

If that! Pruitt has a history of successful coordinator experience and wowed Fulmer with his contacts and ability to form a staff. Tee couldn’t wow Georgia Southern’s AD. I was on the record after we hired him that I saw more a future of him being a future HC than OC and that’s why he returned to be groomed so Fulmer could realistically INTERVIEW him. Think any grooming’s been done in a year’s time?

Belief inside the administration is Tee would be a more palatable choice than a mid-major coach with a spotty record.”

Again, I’m not saying lock this in stone or bet your mortgage on it - but I like to share the gossip.

Please do not hire Tee as head coach.

I'm not a fan of Freeze. He's far from the savior that he's been made out to be...but there's no question he's better than JP.

I'm so disappointed in him. I honestly thought we had our HC. I'M STILL NOT 100% THAT HE'S DONE but...this year has been a train wreck.

Sigh...no one does a coaching search like VN.

There are at least 5 dudes you'd have to strike out with in order for me to be ready for Tee.

Freeze, Napier, Campbell, Chadwell, Fickell. Then you gotta see if guys like Meyer (not happening) or Bob Stoops (not out of the realm of possibility) are interested. The thing about making a change this year, is this team is ready to take off. The UT job, if open, is as good as it has ever looked. All we need is the right coach.
