Well, guys were not wide open on all his passes. We did not watch the same drive. But he sure as heck knows how to move in the pocket and look off DB's when needed. He's a real QB playing the position. JG is an athlete with a cannon who has no clue how to play even after 5 years in a P5 program. Did you ever see Harrison playing in high school? Did you see his HS stats compared to JG's? HB played competition that was at least 4 times more difficult as well.

Not to mention virtually every team plays soft coverage when blitzing. There are good reasons for it. They blitzed repeatedly trying to rattle HB. He didn't rattle. UT wins that game if HB had started.

He reminds me a little bit of Peyton. He's a little awkward the way he carries himself. Throws a very catchable ball. He has good pocket awareness. I like his potential. He should be the starter from here on out. They benched JG last year and brought him off the bench. JG played better off the bench IMO. Not sure why he's so stubborn now.

Could be they don't want to scare away a certain QB recruit. They need as much talent in that area as they can get. I am really trying to give the benefit of doubt with that comment. Not sure if cornhole is that smart. I am fairly sure he is not. But I think Salter needs a couple of years to develop and could be ready by the time Bailey has had a couple of years to be great if not three years. I do think Bailey is that good to be a NFL QB. I just have a hard time thinking cone bread is that smart.

He has shown that he is stubborn even if it cost him his job so I expect JG to be out there again. This is not a make up of a HC. His press conference showed that yesterday. I just talk to a friend of mine who has walk the sideline at S. Pittsburg keeping stats for the team for 30 years. Played at S. Pittsburg and has Grandson playing now. The reason I mention this cause they have had to deal with CP's dad in AL over the years and said he is one stubborn man. My friend by the way is a big Bama fan not a UT fan. He said CP gets it honestly from his dad. LOL
Can you please ask your friend, to ask Pruitt's dad, to ask Pruitt why he keeps trotting JG out there and is he trying to get himself fired? The unknown is killing me. Thank you

Y’all carry water for him like you carry water for UT after constantly failing us. I’m not surprised.

I will carry water for you when I know you make a 6 figure donation to Tennessee on an annual basis. I do think AV manipulates the board at times BECAUSE he really is connected. But he is an outstanding individual who can call up Peyton anytime he wants as well as anyone else he wants to connected to Tennessee.

If competition scares him away then we shouldn't want him to begin with.

It’s the equivalent of Auburn hiring Chizik after a losing season at Iowa St. Except we aren’t getting a once in a decade talent at QB.
Neither was he when he was hired. Landed Cam Newton after his first season. Went 8-5.

Tee is not head coach material. At least not yet.

With the right OC and DC, he would be better than he was as an OC. He can recruit and delegate. I would rather have the other established coaches but would be fine with Tee over those who are mid major guys. It would also save money for staff and such. Just my opinion and I am just one of many.

Tee is not a lateral move. He would be a step back. He hasn't even called plays as an offensive coordinator, and you guys want to make him head coach just based off his name. You give his bio and resume to any other candidate and you guys would be in full fledged revolt against Fulmer and the UT administration if they even mentioned him as a candidate for the position.

Worked for Clemson

There are at least 5 dudes you'd have to strike out with in order for me to be ready for Tee.

Freeze, Napier, Campbell, Chadwell, Fickell. Then you gotta see if guys like Meyer (not happening) or Bob Stoops (not out of the realm of possibility) are interested. The thing about making a change this year, is this team is ready to take off. The UT job, if open, is as good as it has ever looked. All we need is the right coach.
See.. You say that... But that's not what happens here...

Here's our resume...
Fired Hof coach that won a Natty
The coach you brought in to replace him left after 1 year for what he, at least he, thought is a better job.
You're told no by everyone on the next list... Until Dooley said yes.

We fired him after bottoming out again...
Was told no again by several before Butch Jones.. Who actually beat UGA twice Ave ended the FL streak..
Then 2017 happened.

And now you're firing the lucky sob that actually was desperate enough to say yes to this mess and we're now gonna go hand pick the "right coach"?

Lol.

Pruitt will be back next year. Bank on it.

He’s on down the list for me, but we could do worse.

Understand the theory, but what I think is missing is the resolve Alabama showed in getting Saban. I want to see our University say, "We recognize where we have failed. We are tired of failing. We are prepared to do whatever it takes to end this pattern."

Instead we seem content to rationalize rolling the dice. It all sounds great, but so did all our coaches and players showing solidarity during the summer. Now it appears they would have been better off skipping the protests and practicing instead because they are still divided and appear to have forgotten how to play football to boot.

Freeze is not one I would do that for. Urban Meyer on the other hand is. We don't have what it would take to make him come here. I am not sure 11 million a year gets him here and even if it does, can't see UT popping that. He is the Saban level guy that is really out there.
