He has shown that he is stubborn even if it cost him his job so I expect JG to be out there again. This is not a make up of a HC. His press conference showed that yesterday. I just talk to a friend of mine who has walk the sideline at S. Pittsburg keeping stats for the team for 30 years. Played at S. Pittsburg and has Grandson playing now. The reason I mention this cause they have had to deal with CP's dad in AL over the years and said he is one stubborn man. My friend by the way is a big Bama fan not a UT fan. He said CP gets it honestly from his dad. LOL

To have any sort of fan buy in next season it has to be one of Freeze, Campbell, Fickell and maybe Napier or Chadwell. Freeze should be far and away the first choice.

Napier

Then there’s a whole bunch of guys in this third tier that I don’t think are worth separating.

If you're going to do a one year Interim (terrible idea), I would make it Tee. If he succeeds, great, if he fails you have satisfied the VFLs and some of the fan base. Don't see the need to do this though.

If I was playing on this UT team I would be calling a meeting of everyone getting playing time and get them on board with unanimously going to the coaching staff and saying that if they refuse to start Bailey then we all are opting out for the remainder of the year.

You don't let one inept QB make the entire team look like shite.

That's the problem right there. Everyone thinks JG is the only problem we have. He's part of the problem. Our defense is hot garbage. We don't have anyone, on the back end, who understands what they should be doing and constantly gets burned over the top. LB's are too slow to cover anyone coming over the middle. It's gonna take more than HB to turn this thing around.

Eh, there were some super soft coverages on wr. Didn't say they weren't blitzing, but they weren't in the same mindset as the first half.

Well, guys were not wide open on all his passes. We did not watch the same drive. But he sure as heck knows how to move in the pocket and look off DB's when needed. He's a real QB playing the position. JG is an athlete with a cannon who has no clue how to play even after 5 years in a P5 program. Did you ever see Harrison playing in high school? Did you see his HS stats compared to JG's? HB played competition that was at least 4 times more difficult as well.

He may start HB but Pruitt doesn't give a damn about what people think, or say, about him. He's old school and set in his ways and will not change his way of doing things. That's the way he was taught and he will either sink or swim with that mind set. When he was asked about fan displeasure with the state of the program, he said it wasn't his job to be worry about that. He's like a bull in a china store but he's our coach until he isn't.
