His blow ups on the sidelines have been well documented and the university has probably told him to chill out or else. People that have never been a coach or been coached don't understand you can't just turn intensity off and on. If that's what's happened, then it makes some sense for JP to be acting like a zombie on the sidelines this year. They've put his fire out. Who knows

I agree. Hope he takes control back and goes balls out next year. I think he can still get us back if allowed to have a full off season. Bring on the vaccine....Knoxville better mandate that some early doses are set aside for UT athletes. That will be a huge boost to local economy if we are good again. It impacts the university, local businesses and overall mental health of everyone in the area and those of us watching from a distance.
Another year ain’t gonna work. The toothpaste is out of the tube here.

Even if you believe Pruitt is a good coach and deserves another year, rats flee a sinking ship.

I wonder if the talent differential might have contributed to that?

Perhaps a better way to view it is a P5 team nearly lost to Hugh Freeze's team full of unranked FCS players.

Not to mention Hugh's QB had a terrible game, tossed 3 picks. He had 1 in the previous 8 games.

But I'll take losing by 1 and being 8-1 instead of 9-0 any day of the week over this BS Pruitt product.

I believe his timidness is due a lot to confusion, and a ton with the fact he’s successfully delegated every responsibility in-game.

Watch it on Saturday, when we’re on defense, Ansley is standing beside him calling everything.

When we’re on offense, Tee is calling everything (from Chaney in the box.)

Said this after GA St last year. There are two teams. Disjointed.

Ainge is calling for HB to finish the season. He may have before and I missed but I do know he’s been pretty unwavering in his support for JG.
He's been all 2 from what I remember. If Ainge is calling for a change then you know 2 is bad

sounds familiar

Practice is the most over rated thing in sports. It’s a time to perfect your craft not show the things you’ve already perfected. If you coach and your players aren’t making mistakes you either aren’t pushing them to pass their abilities or the practice is completely controlled which is why you get terrible results.

Hence why JG is a great practice player and awful in games. Practice is completely controlled and everything goes right to script. The game is off script 100% of the time, which is why he’s completely lost.
