I've been saying that since the beginning, that the university wouldn't fire him this year. But I was assured by a majority of the board that he would be fired this year. They don't care what fans think. It's not a question if he deserves to be fired. It's all about what the university is willing to do. The only people who will sway their minds are the big money boosters, and I'm not entirely convinced UT will even listen to them atm.

Satterfield was my joke “this is who we’re gonna end up with and you all know it” candidate in 2017. But he’s on his way to a losing season and recently got blown out by Kentucky so he’d certainly fit with what we’re doing on the Hill.Satterfied would scare the **** out of me. He's the guy we should hire.
BRING IN AN OC WITH A SIMPLE PLAYBOOK AND LET HIM DO HIS THING! Stop micromanaging!!!Sooo. Things Pruitt needs to improve on heading into next season.
1. Stop playing guys who continually screw over the football team. Play the young guys, you recruited them for a reason.
2. Coach the defense like you would have at Bama, UGA or FSU. Step on the staffs toes if you have too.
3. Fans matter regardless of what your hero thinks. You ain’t him and you ain’t good enough to discount em.
Aight

Napier has never been a head coach at a big school either. And he was fired at Clemson as an assistant. UT recruits itself if you are winning. Everyone worries about recruiting, but we pulled in top classes with Dooley and Butch. We would be fine. His offense is dynamic and he has improved every program he has been at. He has Central ranked and I think the game with Liberty May sway some people to like him more.My biggest concern with someone like Chadwell is he's never coached at a big school. Not talking HC, just coached period. Could he adjust to recruiting at a level he's never worked at? Napier has experience at several large, successful schools.
Yeah, I specifically said, not talking about HC experience. But Napier has been at Clemson and Bama, two high profile stops. Chadwell has never been at a big time program.Napier has never been a head coach at a big school either. And he was fired at Clemson as an assistant. UT recruits itself if you are winning. Serious question that may have been answered, but I missed it.
@Atlanta VOL @matts42012 @MetalVolunteer: (or anyone else with knowledge) Why does Haslam (member of a UT NC team and former player) want to hire a coach that is mid level and repeat that process every 2-4 years? How does that benefit his family or the university?
