I want to survey the room:
Do y’all really trust Phil Fulmer to make great hires as AD? If so why?
(please give me something more than his love for Tennessee)

I trust any coach that has been successful to choose a coach in their sport to lead a program more so than any corporate type leader that has advanced into being an AD.

Kinda hard to judge him when you’re QB doesn’t throw to the open guy and throws pick sixes on a regular basis and you don’t trust him to run a 2 minute offense.
There’s no excuse to be that bad at QB in year 3 with how many transfers and QBs can come in and make instant impacts else where.

Chaney may not be high on bailey Bc if i recall he wasn’t recruited at Georgia and when Chaney was here we went all in on Haynes king and whiffed.

Give your all is what they want the fans to do. Fans show up win or lose. Spend money win or lose.

They know this which is why they have no incentive to make a change and hire a big time coach. We have been the most faithful fan base over the past 12 years even when we have got nothing in return from the University.

If they keep the gump fans have to stop going to games and spend you hard earned funds elsewhere. When we stop showing up just because it is Tennessee things will finally start to change.
I really don’t know another fanbase of a top 10 winning program all time who has been drug through the lowest of lows for as long as we have.

Their isn't one. You look at those other programs in the top 10-15 all time. They all want to win and will do anything possible above or below board to make it happen.

The university takes us for granted because they know we will show up regardless and spend our money regardless. It has to stop. The crazy thing is the correlation between academic success and football success. Look at Alabama and how much their campus has changed and how much the academics have improved. All thanks to the success of the football program. If anything this should make the UT want a top notch football program.

Nebraska has a had a hard decade or so. They did get Frost and he was the hottest name 3 years ago. So they've at least tried to get better.

Vol fans are the absolute most loyal fanbase in college football. Even as disappointed and mad as I am about this season, I would have watched the entire game this weekend. I'm really bummed we're not playing

I was going to say maybe Nebraska. They are hurt by recruiting areas around them but they should definitely be better than they are.

Michigan was another one I thought of but they went big with Harbaugh, he's just not worked out. Tennessee is the only team I can think of that hasn't made a play for a big name coach. Johnny Majors was the last proven head coach TN hired. That was over 40 years ago!

*We got lucky that Fulmer worked out. I don't think he would have been near as successful without Chavis and Cutcliffe. Everything hit right for Fulmer.

He was recruited at UGA. They were loaded at the time.

Let’s be honest, guys, if Pruitt comes back, he’s not changing a damn thing.

A handful of our assistants will move on to greener pastures to protect themselves, we’ll replace them with subpar hires, and we’ll win 4-6 games next season.
I mean it's clear as day. We're just running out the clock for another coaching search in 12 months.
