You garner the best talent in Texas and utilize it properly? You’re a playoff contender. At their best, the Longhorns land the best...and lots of it.

Yes, they should be every year. I dont think Herman should necessarily be labeled a failure thougg because he hasn't won big in year 4. Mack Brown wasn't a failure and he won two conference titles there in 16 seasons. Charlie Strong did recruit well, but Herman took over a team coming off 3 straight losing seasons. Teams like TX, UGA, UF, and USC have so many built in advantages, but thankfully that doesn't mean everything.

Prayer warriors, please lift up my 6-year-old niece to the Lord for healing. She is at LeBonheur with MIS-C, a secondary condition to COVID. A transfusion was administered yesterday that yielded positive results and another round is being done now. She was asymptomatic when she was infected, and from what the doctors can tell from the results of the PcR test, they believe she contracted COVID in October or before. Thank you for your support and prayers. Go Vols!

**UPDATE**

God answers prayer. All glory be to Him. This has proven to be a marathon, not a sprint. My niece is slowly improving each day, but continued fever spikes are coupled with intense pain responses to touch. The condition causes inflammation in all vital organs and arteries.

The doctors have given no definite timeline for discharge, but we are hoping she will be home by the end of the weekend. Please continue to pray for her healing, my brother and our family, and the attending physicians. Thank you all for the outpouring of love and continued prayers. God bless!

**UPDATE**

My niece had her best night since being admitted to LeBonheur. She has been fever free for 24+ hours and she responded exceptionally to recent treatments. The doctors have not restricted her diet and her appetite is growing daily. God is good! There is nothing impossible for Him to overcome.

I have not made it known before now, but LeBonheur is a special place to me because it is personal. I spent nearly two weeks there when I was 8; and I can’t say enough about the doctors and staff. The heart it takes to work in this setting (and St. Jude) is unparalleled, and I ask that you continue to pray. Thank you, VN!

He was 28-15 at USC, our best coach the last few years is Butch at 34-27. I would take his USC record here.

What’s wild to me... People say all the time a player is this or a player is that, but JG will literally go down as the worst QB in UT history.

That is kind of mind blowing 30 years from now people will see video of him, and say “that guy played QB for UT for 4 years” really?

It was his dream job. He was young and immature. We've all made rash decisions at his age. It is what it is. Hes matured let him come and fix it. Worse case scenario he's a 6-8 win coach and brings a fun offense to watch for a bit.

Anybody else find themselves really not caring about any football today? I used to get so much pleasure out of watching random games or rooting for underdogs or rooting against teams, etc.. Today I really couldn’t care less and truth be told I didn’t even know who was playing. Didn’t even realize today was the iron bowl until I ran across it.

Legion of the miserable, lol. It’s just apathy all the way around.
