I watched approximately 10 minutes if the entire game combined. My wife asked me if they were playing. I told her the game was over we already lost. She responded but you're in a good mood, are they having a good season? I told her the record, she asked why I wasn't upset, I told her apathy. It doesn't affect me any longer.
I used to eat, sleep, breathe Tennessee football. My Saturdays were owned around it. Tennessee is now an afterthought in my life. I'll always be loyal, can't cheer for any other team. But I'm not sure you could call me a fan any more....... Not sure how I feel about that.
I imagine this is a lot like relationships, how they end. You stop needing to spend time with that person, find other things to do with your time. That thought scared the hell out of me but it feels like the right thing to do........ Or at least the healthiest thing to do.
