I disagree. When people get a chance to return to normalcy with no capacity requirements or gathering requirements or lockdowns, they will be out in full force for the first few times. Considering we will be lucky to have that return to normalcy by late summer, football season is perfect timing for all these limits and capacity requirements to be lifted.

There will be tons of people who will want to go do a gameday after not getting to do it for almost 2 years.
You must work in the administration and trying to budget for attendance with hopes and dreams. It isn’t happening. I know VFL’s who won’t even go to a game next year.

Eh, Pruitt will be back next year with a new OC. Bailey will take a step in year 2 because Weinke will be gone, the young players will finally play more, over the offseason the defense will get shored up, and Pruitt will win 7-8 next year and will be back for '22. Recruiting class will rank 17th nationally, missing out on Nolen, Simpson, and the other in state big fish. He'll land a couple, but the majority will go elsewhere.
Lol. We aren’t sniffing eight wins. We have the worst coach in the East. Don’t do it to yourself, this University loves this fanbase because they keep talking themselves that s*** will eventually turn into gold and they keep the gold from the fanbase.

Not true. If we would have "overpaid" at the time for Mullen, he wouldn't have waited out Florida and Chip Kelly.

What I didn't get is why we did "overpay" for Mullen. Getting a solid coach while screwing up our rival's backup plan would have been worth the money.
I love revisionist history, especially when it involves knowing what someone was thinking at a given time.

Agree. This program has no juice at all. Attendance has been dwindling down. It will be down regardless, but man, bring back JP for year 4 and there will be zero life in the program. The geriatric population (who actually watched UT when they were constantly elite) won't come because of lingering COVID stuff, and the younger generation isn't nearly as involved

If Pruitt stays can we just blow up the whole staff with the exception of Graham and Osovet?
Pruitt is stuck between a rock and a hard place. He knows he has to make massive changes to save his job, but if his plan is too big of a financial commitment it would make just as much sense to make change HC also.

Let's dive into some of Pruitt's stats while he was here cheating and still getting embarrassed on the field

(Out of 14 SEC schools)

Total Offense ranking:
2018: 14th
2019: 12th
2020: 12th

Opponent 3rd down conversions:
2018: 11th
2019: 12th
2020: 12th

3rd down conversions:
2018: 10th
2019: 3rd
2020: 14th

Time of Possession:
2018: 11th
2019: 10th
2020: 13th

Turnover Margin:
2018: 11th
2019: 10th
2020: 11th
Thats regression in almost every category. And there was a 0-9 vandy team this year. Vandy was better that us on 3rd down conversions.

It's just who we are now.

So just gonna throw this out there. If Pruitt is retained, I don’t think they fire him next year. If you’re not going to fire a coach after a 3-8 season, your definitely not firing him if he goes 6-6. So he’ll probably be around till 2022. Jmo based on what the administration has done so far.
