As has already been stated, I wouldn’t want to hire someone if I knew they’d spent the previous 2-3 years working with boosters to undercut the head coach and push them out.

Sure but jumping from a UAB or Louisiana to Auburn is a mighty big job. I'm assuming Auburn ain't canning Steele because they don't want to pay his buyout along with Gus'......
