Some of the rumors earlier were that Steele helped push Gus out the door. Maybe they don't trust him.Here is what I don't get. Why would a Napier or Clark have a problem keeping Steele on as DC?
I seriously doubt their DC's at UAB and Louisiana would be as proven as Steele... I get wanting to bring your own guys, but Kevin Steele ain't a slouch DC.

Sure but jumping from a UAB or Louisiana to Auburn is a mighty big job.
