If he is, i hate to say it but it’s at least partially the fans fault. Why would they make a change or want to do any extra when they know that virtually no matter what we’re gonna pack the stadium as much as it allows, buy all kinds of merchandise, and keep tuning in.

After covid this year, coupled with our situation, if we bring him back next year I could see a huge dive in attendance. Now that all depends on like you said, what we're allowed for attendance based on where we are with the pandemic. But if for some reason all restrictions are lifted on that next year, I have hard time believing we are gonna pack the stadium for a lame duck coach.

It was a perfect recipe for crap defense.

not really. ask around. w/l record is just the tip of the iceberg. get below the surface....a lot a like, and equally dangerous to the health of their respective programs, as we're seeing play out right now, and have seen play out here.

can go back to terry bowden, tubberville, petrino.....in fact, i'd say prior to 2017 most would tell you Auburn's fans, booster, admin situation was probably in worse shape than ours. you could make an argument for LSU and how they handled the last two years of Les Miles tenure....(talk about lucky, it doesn't get luckier than LSU in how that worked out).

anyway. w/l record isn't the only factor. but, hey, if that's all you're going with, well, that's a choice YOU make. doesn't really matter in regards to what actually is.
