I think so, but I'm not gonna think people are crazy for thinking Lebron either. It's pretty damn close at this point.
It's really not. Lebron is a great player, but Jordan is clearly the better player. Jordan in his prime was unstoppable on offense, but also an all-NBA defender.

Bringing back Pruitt and Chaney is literally telling your entire fan base to shut up and eat what we serve.
The fanbase needs to say no thanks and let the donors contribute the revenue because we aren’t going to give you any. Enough is enough. A s*** sandwich is always going to taste like a s*** sandwich no matter how you try to dress it up.

Well, 1 is gone for sure, a second is potentially gone, so that’s not quite the percentage that swings the odds in our favor to keep them

JG - obvious transfer. Lost his starting job as a RS Sr
BM - 3rd string and passed on depth chart by true Fr

Shrout would be a surprise to me. He’s competing for the starting job.

HB committed to Pruitt when we didn’t even have an OC named. He started games his true Fr season. Why in the hell would he leave?

Tennessee- 833-383, 6 NC, 13 SEC championships
Auburn - 782-449, 2 NC, 8 SEC championships

One is not like the other. I can pull random years too and try to compare but that doesn’t make any sense. Like I said, you don’t know football.
Is this the all time record? Try the last 20 years. Who cares what happened prior to 2000 because it is a meaningless stat today regarding the quality of the programs present day.

At this point it’s like putting diarrhea on a sandwich and calling it DiJon Mustard

I hope bailey leaves. He won't get any coaching or development here. And he will always be playing on a bad team. He needs to think about his future and transfer.

I've decided to opt out of the next 100+ pages of this thread. Just catch me up if I've missed anything:

1. Vols out of the Liberty Bowl due to COVID, including Pruitt.
2. Deerpark expecting Pruitt to return.
3. Endless speculation, coaches names and moaning.

Is that about it?
You left out LWS says two more years of Pruitt.

Frustration? Seems to be the buzz word these days. I’d be frustrated too if I committed to a coach who was quoted saying he doesn’t have time for 4th string qbs (Bailey at the beginning of the year)

he's done nothing to deserve retention. but that's not the message they're sending. lol.

like it's the goal to alienate fans. lol.

we're mad. i get it. but let's not let a good hissy fit get in the way of some common sense.

If you check the threads I believe you will find the statement that Tn football = or > than Auburn is considered laughable. You are way in the minority.
Lol! Do you see that you received zero likes and please show me the threads that show this? It’s ok that you don’t watch football or know which programs are better than the other. But making dumb claims and standing by them is just stupid. Tennessee is second in SEC titles only behind Bama. ESPN even ranked the top programs and had us at number 14. Guess what, Auburn was at 20. You don’t know anything about college football.

Bringing Chaney back makes sense by Tennessee math just because our dumbass boosters might think "well we can't agree about firing Pruitt so we'll sabotage him for next season."

If the players prior to 2000 were allowed to take the extra step allowed nowadays you could add 10 points/game to their career averages.

So, if Pruitt stays here is what needs to happen: •new QB coach, maybe let Chaney coach qb’s because it seemed to work well for Tyler Bray and Nate Peterman.
•Pruitt needs to stay out of the offense and worry about defense
•Pruitt should takeover playcalling duties for defense.
•we need to invest in quality position coaches, maybe bring in Bo Davis as DL coach, and Tosh for lb coach.
•100% open competition at every position, especially qb.

Lol this is just funny.

surely you don’t mean we should let the man dig a deeper and wider hole?

Yeah I don’t get the whole Jordan vs Lebron debate. Jordan is the Goat. Lebron is great probably too five all time but Jordan is the best. For me it’s:
Jordan

Kobe, Lebron
