For VolChat refugees, babyvol was one of the gold standards. Then 2012 happened, and he was sure he was coming. He wasn’t a troll by any means, so that’s why I think there was always some smoke that year.

A lot of people got suckered into the Gruden deal, even John Pennington (though he would deny it now).

This was the first Gruden deal. There were rumors it was going to happen and Hart killed it. There was another very reliable poster on Gridscape that was all in as well. Can't remember who it was.

Gus's stagnant handling of the offense, his inability to recruit and develop OL, and inability to develop offensive players as a whole are the major reasons...and that is a major red flag since he is a offensive side HC. They know that defense has saved his bacon, and that was not why they hired him. They can call the offensive play he is going to run 90+% of the time...it was crazy. I have watched them do it for years now.

On Saturday, something was supposed to happen Monday. Maybe they meant not yesterday Monday but next week Monday. Makes sense right? It’s always not today.

We remember him exactly the same. He died on that hill, so I still have some belief that we were much closer than some others have claimed.

My question is why do we want him here? He figured out how to stop Chip Kelly’s old offense (which Kelly even now says is outdated).

What’s he done since then? 2015,16,17 they had a middle of the road SEC defense. Since then it’s been back to being a terrible defense.

My own opinion, of course, in saying he’s overrated.
