can anyone name a coach who had major Sucess at a P5 school while only having coached at the FBS level (assistant or HC) for 3 years? I’ll check but the only one that comes to mind is Gus

ESPN said a source stated he was at the top of their list when they started. More like...Steele...nope, Napier...nope, Venables...nope, Clark...nope...lets get out of the south and go far west to a guy who doesn’t know how we operate...yes.

I'm higher on Napier myself. I think he could do very well here and I like that he has some good recruiting ties and has worked in the SEC so he knows what it takes. JMO

Hire either of those and your just paddling up stream.
