I have been a TN fan since the early ‘70’s. The run in the ‘90’s was incredible. Fulmer being the coach that finally got us the national championship will be one of the reasons he will always be loved by most people. However, that does not make him a good AD or even a good person. It only means he was a successful coach. He may be hard to work for and he may be in way over his head as an AD.

I know who Atlanta Vol is. I bought tickets from him a few years ago. He is all about trying to get TN back to the top. The man does way more for the university than 99.99% of the people out there. Disagree with him if you want but don’t question his motives.

Unfortunately, my luck is just like TN’s luck. I bought tickets from AV to see my fist game in Neyland but I had a heart attack in the stands before the players even took the field. I didn’t even get to see them running through the T. That was probably my only chance to go to a game. My daughter thinks I am foolish for caring about a team that has been so bad for so long. Like most of you, I just want to see this team compete on Saturday. I don’t have the $$ to do anything about it so I just read here and hope for the best.

I hope to see TN good again but it may not happen. Until then, I will always cheer for my team and hope for better results next year. Hug your family members if you still have them and Merry Christmas to all of Volnation

Just read this and man I was moved.
Here’s the deal no way will that be your last experience with your daughter. Next year reach out to me and I will ensure you get some VIP treatment for any game of your choice for you and her. I can’t guarantee the team will be up to expectations but as you probably know its more about that experience with your daughter than anything else. Just reach out to me via email and we will get it all set up.

Merry Christmas...

3 names to watch for offensive line coach according to Austin Price in no particular order.

1. Matt Moore - West Virginia
2. Ryan Pugh - Troy University
3. Jim Turner - Cincinnati Bengals

Granted this was an answer to a podcast question and not an indicator that Pruitt is indeed returning for a 4th season.

Come on guys it's Christmas Eve. Shelve all this hate for next week. Enjoy your family and friends the best you can. If this year has taught us anything it's that this game is insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Merry Christmas VN! Have a safe and joyful few days. And please remember the reason for the season.
Merry Christmas to all my VolNation brethren and sisteren!

Yeah let’s hire the guy that got Joe burrow killed

I have to say I like the riled up AV very much. I hope there are others that matter who are as sick of Fulmer as some of the fans. He has to go, and whoever allowed him back in the building should have to join him. He is NOT an AD. I can't believe he was allowed to sink his claws back into this program. Easily the dumbest move ever made by UT.

He has to be gone for this to get better. Pruitt as well, but Phil leaving the building is even more important to the health of UT football. I am a small time a fan as it gets, maybe a game a year or every other, but I grew up here loving this team. Half of my clothes are Orange. I cannot stand watching this show any longer. I'll start being a Maryville College fan before I pull for a Phil and Pruitt led UT team again. Love the players that come here, but this program is a dumpster fire and accepting it, giving them another year to "fix" it, just prolongs the descent into complete irrelevance.

Alabama has also completely ruined CFB. I can't stand the CFB playoffs... Clemson, Bama, Ohio State, Clemson, Bama, Ohio State... rinse and repeat. Last year was a fluke. Something BADLY needs to be done to level the playing field
What can be done though? A star cap similar to a salary cap like in NFL? Not sure what can happen to level the field. League relegation like European soccer?

Agree, but realistically, what do you think could be done?

This is actually the aircraft used for pilots instrument training in Navy flight school. It was designated as the Beechcraft SNB, but those of us that trained on it called it the "Secret Navy Bomber".
Haaa.. Dad was in the Navy in the early 50s. I believe he did some of his training in a SNJ which, if I remeber right, was the Navy designation for the T6 Texan.. I probably got all that wrong.. 🤪

That crap about Phil spending 80% of his time in the football facilities explains a lot. He wants Pruitt here because Pruitt allows the meddling. He is Phil's lifeline to bigtime D1 football and Phil is likely smart enough to know that other coaches wouldn't put up with it.
