If you can't come up with a reason to support Phil that has nothing to do with his coaching career, you are stuck in the past. That was 12 years ago for Christ's sake.

Haven't read all of this, but we did get almost every assistant we wanted and paid them well. Is Pruitt standing in the way of their coaching? And Fulmer got rid of Holly-- of course, I would have preferred he would have hired Kara...

The program is bigger than Fulmer. If he has been interjecting himself in the program he has to go.

1. Cause it hasn't helped. What pearl of wisdom from him made an impact? Crappy product they put on the field.

2. Even a gump deserves a chance to run it without someone looking over his shoulder.

3. I knew someone that played under Fulmer and he acted the same as head coach. He was a figurehead. The real work and development was done by the assistant coaches. I realize this is one man's interpretation of his time under Fulmer. He also said they were more afraid of disappointing Al Wilson than any coach.

Here's the initial test version of the 757. A few changes were made later. I was one of the original test pilots. We has lots of problems landing it cause they put the nose wheel on the wrong end of the aircraft.:D :cool:

Fulmer allowed Cutcliffe and Chavis run things, right? (and he was a fantastic recruiter)

Then there was the rumor that Pruitt didnt like doing the meet and greet stuff, so Phil was fine with this.

Really having a hard time here. (and no, I haven't read everything)

Well the guy who supposedly cares about winning thinks that a guy who got his s*** kicked in by Kentucky in year 3 is still the guy for the job. He also almost messed up the only good thing going on the hill but Boyd cleaned up the mess.

I remember thinking Dana Holgerson was a good coach. But, He left WV a poop show and he’s been unimpressive at Houston which has a decent pattern of success the last decade.
