I don’t like Herman, personally. He’s thin skinned and a jack@$$. But his track record is a lot better than cornbread and his offense is explosive and he recruits at a high level.

Think about how highly Sark must be thought of as a coaching mind. HC for historic USC program, fall from grace, OC for best HC at historic Bama program, then HC for infinite-money historic Texas program.

Whether it works . But damn, people in the industry love this dude.

He can fine tune QBs and direct a top level offensive attack...in short he can coach TALENT. All pluses but what chews up coaches in Austin is going to be Sarkisian’s biggest challenge. All of the booster obligations, i.e. golfing with the big oil dummies, kissing babies and not kissing what isn’t authorized will test his recovery.
