Yeah no reason to get mad arguing over something that isn't going to happen. Everyone can want Chadwell as much as they want and it probably won't happen. We can be fearful of Marrone and that hire is probably not going to happen.

I think it's hard to be successful if you have absolutely no idea what success looks like. Being a successful HC is more being able to get talented people around you. Hiring a guy that came up with a gimmicky offense and have won at a low level doesn't get me excited. I guess that's why they make chocolate and vanilla.

I think Chadwell would bring energy and being from here, I think he would recruit the state pretty well. Hopefully he hires a good staff.

I'd compare him to Butch without the cringy phrases

He be more comparable to Bruce Pearl on the energy front. I think he would be a fantastic recruiter here.

Ok, so been working a lot.. Last I saw, folks were saying Marrone and then because of Kevin Steele possibly joining now with Pruitt still being the head coach, it had suddenly become very possible that Pruitt was staying, so now Chadwell is back to being a more viable option? I mean is Pruitt going to be fired from his job? What is the percentage on this from those folks with some possible knowledge of the situation? Is it 50/50 that Pruitt is let go or a different percentage, etc..? Any idea on the odds of these various coaching possibilities? My thanks for any information provided, and sorry for all the questions.

Yeah he's the closest true "home grown" boy of the lot, from Caryville played at ETSU, coached at ETSU too. He actually grew up here played for Anderson County High and lived in the state 3+ decades.

Well, we the fans also put A LOT of money in the University's pocket. Its not just boosters that make this train go. When I've personally invested probably $40,000+ over the last 10 years, yeah I expect a better ROI.

I'm not saying the admin should let "fans" make a decision, but sh!t, at least let them have a small influence. Obviously, whatever the hell they've been doing over the last decade isn't working.

I'm not stating numbers to toot my own horn, but those thousands add up when youre not putting a product on the field thats worth a damn. Next year I'm not renewing. I already pay Comcast $200 a month watch our faces get pounded in. Why would we pay thousands just to be there?

There's a difference in not spending money and going over in front of Neyland with a bullhorn making an ass of yourself. Right?

Sitting in the floor playing chutes and ladders with a just turned 5 year old. Wife was out running an errand, she walked in I handed Eli off to her and went to campus. Got home around 6am.

Craziest night of my career by far.
