He retired in the summer of 19 but was well aware of what was taking place behind the scenes, not saying it was for sure him but he'd be one I'd look at because IIRC he's the one who leaked the Schiano stuff to stop it

There's no way y'all can tell me Wanya and Crouch aren't good players or we don't need them. They haven't been developed! Wanya looked like an all American his freshman year. Crouch is a freak athlete that's been put in a terrible position to succeed. Tired of seeing folks act like these guys aren't good.

What has caused the concentration of great teams in college football over the last 10+ years? Why isn’t the talent more evenly spread out?

I think it started with the BCS which was basically a two team playoff and continues with present format. It puts the total focus on a handful of schools that have a realistic shot at making the playoff.

Somebody hated Pruitt, somebody that saw the fanbase go to pure hatred mode and sided with them, and somebody that knew Phil didn't want to get rid of Pruitt and wasn't going to fire him just on record..

That person, or group of people decided to go scorched earth to get their way and figured it would force Pruitt to be fired.

I think it blew up in everybody's face though.

This isn't just my opinion though, several of the media guys have said this happened.

Against the run also. I specifically watched him. He played up to last years level the last 2-3 games.

Pruitt has not broken the top 100 in total offense in any of the years he's been here. That's 2018, 2019, and 2020.

His offense is a huge joke. Again, Chaney is laughing his way to the bank.

At a normal school, that level of cheating cannot be exposed after a 3-7 season and the coach be retained. 0%. Sometimes I have to remind myself we are not a normal school though.

This is absolutely the biggest miss! Shrout and Maurer are talented, but their ceilings were always very low.

Recruiting an elite QB usually takes time (i.e. more than 6 months) unless your HC is a former elite OC or known as a QB guru, which Pruitt is neither of those obviously. We have seen the ability to land MUCH better talent the last two years after having time to build relationships.

Maurer was an Elite 11 QB with crazy HS numbers..his ceiling wasn't low coming out of HS.

I haven’t seen the grades but 10 SEC games compared to 8 SEC/5 OOC isn’t comparing apples to apples.

Compare 2019 SEC vs 2020 SEC and we have a fair comparison

Henry T regressed. Crouch is at this time a lower echelon SEC lb. Gray has only succeeded because of natural talent. Still doesn’t break or elude tackles like he should. Trey Smith is likely a third/ fourth round pick. He regressed in 2020.

Haven’t seen Trey any lower than a top 40 pick. Not sure where you’re getting 3rd or 4th rounder
