Buddy choose logic.
It's fine man. If they said Pruitt would not win 8 games until year 4 in 2017 you probably would have said "Better than I could have dreamed."

But let's be serious here. As funny as I think it is that you rejoice at the idea of 8 wins in year 4, there is not a snow ball's chance in hell.

PDS.

You don't go from losing all of your games in the SEC by double digits to 9 wins. 😂
it's been done before. i think.
it's a tired reference and isn't comparable to today's game, but we started off 88 0-6 and won the conf in 89....

and ftr, i don't think we're winning 8 or 9 next year.

the question was "if".....

Is your first 8 win season in year 4 good or is it not good? Would you have said the same thing in 2017?

For me, those questions are easy to answer and they don't have anything at all to do with Pruitt specifically.

You're the one doing mental gymnastics into thinking that 4 year track record is not only good, it is worth rejoicing over.

Because Pruitt wrecked the roster and the coaching staff, we get to reset his clock and pretend this is year 1 again. Have you seen a doctor for Pruitt nut hugging syndrome?

Seriously get help.

Things won't change with the offense unless the guy at the top changes his ideaology. I do think to a point Chaney was handcuffed to JG, but at the end of the day Pruitt is a defensive minded coach and he will never run a wide open offense.
i think he will, and would. i think he alluded to wanting to be more aggressive this past year.

plus, i think if he is back this year, i doubt very seriously at any point in the conversation fulmer had with pruitt that he was told just keep doing what you're doing.....nothing needs changed. and i'm betting if chaney and pruitt talk, they probably hashed a few things out.

point being, i don't think you go thru a season like we just did, be fortunate enough to retain your job, and not have a long talk with the guy in the mirror.

one way or the other it needs to change. and things don't change until you change them.

1. I don't hate Chaney like some, but hes not a guy that's going to bring us into the 21 century, if we are going to change he needs to go.
2. The story on Fulmer has been he wants to run the ball and play good defense, I don't think he's magically going to change his philosophy.
3. Pruitt can say what he wants, but for 3 years we have been running a very un dynamic, marginally explosive offense at best.

This seems more likely to be the Pruitt plane. Went to NC on the 13th for Crouch, CA today for HT. They're coming home late tonight, I would imagine we hear back by Sunday night.

I get that but why were 2 planes going to the same location for half of the day. I dont think its a coincidence that they both were in knox, auburn and then concord.

PDS, Pruitt Derangement Syndrome.
Nope, I just know a bad coach when I see one. His offensive philosophy sucks, recruiting has been where it needs to be, and its year 3 and we still cant line up correctly on defense. Pruitt is about to turn over his staff for the 3rd time in 3 years. He has made more enemies on the hill than most know about, and the school was actively looking for a way to get him out this past off season. Pruitt is also extremely toxic in his actions. Its not a matter of if but when he fails
