I feel like there needs to be a lot of context placed into this.

2018 - coming off a 4-8 Season where Butch Jones was fired and lost every single SEC game. First year of the early signing period where Pruitt was hired days before the signing period and was still coaching at Alabama.

2019 - Jeremy Pruitts first true Recruiting class

2020 - COVID happened.

Covid just amplified issues that were already present. Lack of leadership and unity both with the team and staff, as well as inability to retain and hire quality staff.

That’s how you end up incapable of lining up with a veteran team, firing a first year coach 4 games into a season, JG moping on the sidelines alone while nobody helps the current QB up after a sack, etc.

IMO, Chancellor Plowman will break the news either Monday or Tuesday. She will discuss the findings and what we plan to do as far as penalties, firings, etc moving forward. I still wish they would fire Pruitt and PF would step down as AD but agree to be an ambassador or something of that nature. That's my thinking and hope anyways.

It seems it’s just way too late in the process. He greeted the guys to their dorms yesterday. Of course why wouldn’t he? But still. He’s here. He’s your coach of the 2021 Volunteer Football Team.

I don't think it's necessarily too late in the process. Let all the players get back and settled first. Pruitt is doing exactly what he is being paid to do at the present time. I just feel like it will be Monday or Tuesday before we all get some clarity. Irregardless whether he is the coach moving forward or not, we have to get some coaching positions filled in the very near future. How many? Who knows, but I want Weinke gone for sure.

I used to think he was getting fire but no longer. To many things are happening that help the team. Imagine what would happen if he was fired.

If Pruitt doesn't let them do anything, nothing will change. Therefore we need a new head guy..

Idk why we are waiting...

Culture will be even worse in a year. We will hear the same come Fall...”well the culture is still a problem” blah blah blah. Then we will fall even further behind. It’s not that hard to figure out what will happen.

Going to be a big told you so moment.
