I saw a name last night and I really hope it is not that personAbout the snitch:
Wasn't AV or a coup attempt.
A person complained to someone who worked directly for Plowman about players getting improper benefits and not giving a crap. They told Plowman and she acted. Genie out of the bottle. A little bitchin' that got to the wrong people.
I was told the name of both people. It serves no purpose to say them because it will bring an avalanche of hate down on them and their family.
I was told yesterday that it is out there and will break. Tifwiw.
Can't wait for him to put up USC, Bama, FAU and Ole Miss posters all over the Anderson training facility.Kiffin really does seem like the perfect candidate for our head coaching vacancy.
- He has proven himself to be capable of program building since he left Alabama.
- HE WANTS TO BE HERE.
- He left us in the lurch, and we spiraled after. Some of this is his doing. He can come make it right.
- It wouldn't/shouldn't matter to him that we will likely have some size of NCAA hammer dropped down on us, even if it's a bowl ban and/or scholarship reduction.
- His son's middle name is Knox.
- He brought Chaney here, and would likely continue a relationship with him (preventing further staff turnover).
- VFLs like Jay Graham, Tee Martin, Kevin Steele, Kevin Simon, etc, will stay and coach for Lane.
- He coached with Steele at Bama for 2 years (2014/2016).
- He brought Tee Martin to USC, where they coached together for 2 years (2012/2013).
- He is a proven recruiter and is RELEVANT, which would be great.
- He had a successful 2020 at Ole Miss.
- This time around, he'd be here for the long haul.
Did you really just use the words "Fisher" and "not sexy" in a sentence? C'mon man.

Two things: 1. I'm okay with both of these options. 2. "Quickly" is the opposite of what AP said, so I also think it will be quickly.
The SI article that came out recently about the Texans problems blames Easterby, not O'Brien for that trade.Bill O’Brien seems to align most with what the Admin wants and the ability to win football games. Was a disaster as GM of Texans, but in his 6 full seasons as HC, they won the division 4 times. Winning record as NFL HC, but most importantly, took over one of the few college programs that was more dysfunctional at the time than we are.
Being able to win at Penn State immediately after the Sandusky scandal was a miracle. Also landed Hackenburg for his second year, one of the top QB’s in the country that year. Hack’s best year was by far with O’Brien in his freshman year.
You want someone that has proven to be able to stabilize a former great program during a rough time, no better candidate. Has big time NFL ties, which is a plus. I’m sure Manning is a fan and he would go a long way in helping us land Simpson and Arch.
My concern would be that he might leave for the NFL after 2 or 3 years here if successful. But even still, if he were to stabilize the program, it would be a win for us.
I think he would work in college. He’s a great evaluator of talent. Drafted a lot of great players and would win in living rooms. Would trust him to basically run program as more of a GM and let his coordinators do most of the leg work. He would be very very comparable to mark richt imo. You’ll see why in this video. Fantastic guy.
He won his division 4 out of 7 years.O'Brien was a college head coach for 2 years. He stabilized Penn State in a tough time. But let's not act like he had this unbelievable run there. He became bowl eligible twice when everybody thought they wouldn't be able win a game. 15-9 record. He didn't stick around long enough to find out if he would win more. Impressive stretch but it was short lived.
He has a terrible NFL reputation. I don't want that guy anywhere near us. Bama is a great place for him. I'm out.
