Me too, I think this is actually it. I don't think we can recover, at least not in the foreseeable future. Also, I just logged back on after several hours away. Playing catch up and all this is hitting me at once like a Mack truck barreling over the center line. I may be a bit emotional because I love Vol football.
For one ...I don't know what a Qanon horde is....(but she sounds nasty).two....clean slate now with 1 to 2 year bowl ban is still better than if we kept Gump for 2 more years....Swear our fan base is worse than the Qanon horde.
We just sent this program to new depths (not to mention possible sabotaging the entire AD), and many of you seem to still think this is a win.
Maybe the result was decided before the client admitted wrongdoing.Well if i was Glazier, i would make sure that if i told my client to admit to wrong doing, it was going to lead to the best result possible for the client. Im sure UT followed his recommendation on whether to bury this stuff or dig it all up and turn it over.
If we have walk-ons in the two deep and they all actually play with heart, methinks that we would be better than 3-7, maybe much better. These were some of the best players on the team. This doesn't do that, it just makes it more difficult to play good, consistent or competitive football. We are so screwed. I think the ceiling with a name hire will be top 30 recruiting class. We are in a seriously bad position, think walk-ons in the two deep bad.
It’s probably just wishful thinking, but I’m hoping Pruitt’s judgement on other positions was as lousy as it was at QB, and maybe some of our reserves, if given some opportunities, are as good, or maybe even better than some of the starters that are bailing. I’m pulling extra hard for the guys that are sticking by the team at a time when it would be easy to leave. Why would Keyshawn be looking to leave when Pruitt dumbass wouldn’t put him on field. Probably has better chance to see field now with new staff
I’d much rather cheer & cuss for kids that are pouring their heart into the program versus a bunch of entitled punks Go Damn VolsProgram needs a good bowel movement. That includes malcontent, selfish players, too. Everytime we went in somewhere to build a HS program the best thing that happened was graduation. Roll with the young guys, the fresh faces, the ones that are hungry and don't have a built in sense of comfort and entitlement. We all need to hang tough for a few weeks and let the toilet finish flushing. Hire the right coach and the transfer portal opens both ways.
