Campbell:
Short term: takes the roster we have and is immediately competitive. Changes trajectory of the program. Recruiting doesn't fall off, might improve. Even if it doesn't immediately get into top 10 or top 5, he has a proven track record of doing more with less.
Long term: at a minimum he raises our floor a few tiers to be back to where we were in the early/mid 00's. Compete for the division for sure. Even if he averages 9-10 wins over a 5+ year period it would lay a foundation that would set this program up for years to come.
If we hire him, we are not worried about any of these coaching fiascos we have had to deal with for the past 10+ years. He is a rising star that can build a healthy, strong program. Would set us up well for the rest of this decade, and likely beyond.
