Not as being head coach. You see to think that NFL interest is infallible. Kliff Kingsbury. How was he in college? How's that working out in the NFL?taken from the article:
“Earlier this month, ESPN's Josina Anderson reported that Elliott told the Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins he wasn't interested in making the leap from Clemson to the NFL as an assistant coach. The first connection that Elliott had to the NFL was with the Seattle Seahawks, who fired Brian Schottenheimer this month.
Elliott’s success running the ball could be a big reason why Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll initially had interest in Elliott for the position.”
Three of the best ran teams currently were interested in him. One being coached by one of the best coaches of all time.
You’re taking one name out of all those people. Nothing is an exact science. I don’t love kingsbury but you can’t deny his track record with QBs. He’s also only 2 years in on a complete rebuild and they almost made the playoffs. They went 8-8 this year. Should be in the playoffs next year. Not as being head coach. There are a lot of head coaches who don't make it in the NFL and suck in college. Just because an NFL team expresses interest in a coach to be an assistant doesn't mean they are an elite head coach at a place like TN.
