For the record, I dont know enough about Fleck to know whether I would like him or not. Haven't taken the time to research him beyond his record and cheesy slogans. You know, important life stuff. My point is, you dont know whether or not so and so would fail or succeed here, and neither do I. So once again, look up what a fact is, then reevaluate your comment.

Why do we think there is going to be a leak before an announcement? Once they know who it’ll be, I imagine it is announced within just a few hours. They’ll tell the football team and then the coach will immediately get to work due to the kids in the transfer portal and signing day coming up.

Well one thing is for sure and it is something we wanted. That that thing, is new leadership that is not making the same mistakes as the past leadership teams. This team has been running a tight ship the entire time and given that process got us DW, which shocked 99% of people is a great sign for the future. Now we just have to wait and see what the next surprise will be and who ever it is, I am looking forward to it, mainly because it seems adults are in charge now.

With that said, it’s Campbell until it ain’t.

I don’t think Elliott is more highly regarded than Pruitt was. You can quote after quote of highly respected coaches saying Pruitt had the highest potential of anyone and he was an amazing hire. Look how that worked out. TN shouldn’t be a place for coaching experiments and first timers.

Elliott has turned NFL of jobs down and college HC coaches down and is widely regarded as a future head coach.

My point is only about thier prospects as a HC... And Elliot's are much rosier than Pruitt's were.

Find me coordinators who their first job was a big power 5 job and had success. List is super short. Odds aren't in your favor. Kirby walked into a gold mine and has had success. If it takes more than 5 minutes to find that answer out, then there's your sign. Doesn't happen often.

And with that gold mine Kirby gets nervous, makes a few bad calls, and blows the big games that were his for the taking....

There is a lot of truth to this statement. Would hiring Elliot excite the fan base and highly rated high school recruits. I do believe Campbell or Kiffin would for sure.

White stated he'd listen to the players. Do you think the players would like to wear black jerseys once in a while? Who do you feel the players would like most to be their new coach? Case closed.

Yet he’s built two different programs into their most wins in 100 years while Butch followed Brian Kelly’s success at his stops.

They are different coaches with different skill sets.

I believe this too. He is a risk. But if ADW thinks he is the best coach that will say yes, I will support and get excited.

I hope and want our next coach to win the press conference, but I truly care more about them winning this fall.
