You’ll have to give it up at some point right? Might as well eat that frog now considering those bowl payouts will likely increase in the future.

Also where does that money go when it’s forfeited? Stays in Birmingham or get redistributed to the rest of the schools?
So we are supposed to get a share even though we didn’t play because of “Covid”. My guess is it increases shares for schools who actually played.

Another thing on the NCAA. Jimbo Hyams said that the NCAA has cut staff so much and their backlog is so great that they may be satisfied with UT's investigation and may just accept their results. Said if they self imposed a reasonable penalty they may just rubber stamp it.
Consider the source. Knowing him he’s probably referring to the Pearl investigation.

It's Tennessee, do you really see that happening?

And how is this a problem?

What are they?
SpaceX next rocket the starship. Those are about 14 stories tall and will eventually sit on a much larger booster. Will be the largest rocket ever made and fully reusable. Just refuel and launch. Larger pressurized cabin for people to ride than a 747.

Lebron would have to toughen up though, they were head hunters back then, especially teams like the Pistons and Celtics. Game was different, much more physical.

Conditioning and athleticism is much more advanced these days but that's true for every sport played.

100% agree. Sankey adds it to the kitty to bribe officials.

Diabolical

Danny White cleaning rats outta the top office, Fulmer no longer meddling, young boosters replacing the entitled boosters of old, players that don’t want to be here are leaving, and bad coaches getting the boot.

The culture and change we wanted and needed with Pruitt is happening now that he’s gone. Also good to see the remaining players buying in. Looks like the rebuild is actually starting to happen. Had to occur from the top down and should have started years ago.

That's the beauty of summary dispositions. Just have to make sure Donde doesn't have control and overdo it.

Covid has been a blessing in a strange way as it is allowing some seniors to come back.

I might be wrong but I don’t think they will count against the 85 so with that said next year is the perfect year to start the scholarship reductions. Go ahead and carry 80 and self impose 5. Then allow the seniors to lessen the blow and we should be close to the normal 85

If they are a good honest coach that's good at his job then hire him, but if he is not help him find something that will suit his talents

Of the VFLs that have coached at UT I've really only liked Fair tbh. When he left after his GA stint the DBs were awful and felt he didn't get a fair shake with Pruitt. Tee has been awful and I'm not a huge fan of Graham.

I seen LA comment about this isn’t what Steele envisioned. What did he envision? Being the Hc? Being DC for a different candidate? What happened to wanting to see your university through this? All changes when you realize you can take 900k for two weeks of work lol. Can’t believe we don’t have some kind of out in thst contract somewhere.
It’s really phenomenal that they signed off on this knowing what was coming

The scholarship reductions are generally a certain number per year for a set number of years. So it affects initial counters rather than total scholarship.
