I will say this as well, I think CJH being so introverted is a great thing for a HC here at UT right now.

Lebron would have to toughen up though, they were head hunters back then, especially teams like the Pistons and Celtics. Game was different, much more physical.

Conditioning and athleticism is much more advanced these days but that's true for every sport played.

The scholarship reductions are generally a certain number per year for a set number of years. So it affects initial counters rather than total scholarship.

So many have praised AJ Artis today... Not sure why.. We became smaller and supposedly faster, but couldn’t bring anyone down after contact.., losing Fitz was huge.. smaller is not better in this league

S&C when kids weren't even on campus? That's not going to be a good measure of Artis. Fwiw we were pretty good in the trenches, where S&C shows up the most. Good run D and good push in the run game.

The 25 limit is bs. If the roster cap is 85, and a school needs 40 to fill it, they should be allowed to sign 40 in a class. No reason for that rule.

Partly is there because if you go by the above, coaches like Saban will...push...15 kids away each year and take 40 blue chippers every year.

You want to lower the demand, not increase it. Supply and demand of transfers eventually have to even out. But if you give teams more spots, then it only exacerbates the transfer cycle.

I’m not saying you are wrong as I asked the same question a week or so back and it was said the 85 number was the one reduced


The 85 number is easier to reduce than the 25 imo.
