I know some feel Steele got pushed on to us, but even without all that's happened here he's still arguably a top 5-10 DC hire.

I already shared what his career as a DC has looked like. His worse season at Clemson was greatly impacted by a single game against West Virginia.

I think his experience would be a benefit to have opposite a relatively young offensive staff & HC. The question though would be is he a snake in the grass like the outside appearance with the Auburn situation makes him out to be? I think that's what DW & JH are trying to figure out right now.

I think he's arguably a Top 5 DC

After talking with some folks about how this offense will run, I just plainly don’t think we’re going to have success in the SEC. Doesn’t meant I’m not rooting to be wrong.

I hated the hire, got on board because that’s what fans do, then did some actual research. I don’t see how this path forward ends well.
I’ve not heard from anyone who thinks we can’t be successful. He has developed many QBs and you win in college with elite QB play. Plus, his offense is multiple and different from OU and UCF. It’s not like we’re running the pro style anymore and we won eight games with the worst scheme in football. We will win with this scheme. I’m not sure it ever brings championship, but I have no doubt we could win 8-10 a year with this offense.

Also...when ya breakdown Drew Lock's numbers he's not as elite as ya think.

I actually think HB could put up really impressive numbers under CJH, mainly because of his accuracy and decision making. Feel like Chaney's playcalling made every QB slower on the release so I'm not worried about that side of things.

I rarely drink anymore bc the hangover just isn’t worth it
The key is drinking water while (not after, and certainly not the morning after...it's too late) drinking. You don't have to necessarily go one-for-one, but if I've had several drinks interspersed with a few big (i.e., 20 oz.) cups of water, at the very worst I wake up feeling bad for about 30 minutes but then am OK. Everybody is built differently, but most of the pain at least from my hangovers is from the dehydration. If you replenish those fluids as you're drinking, you end up feeling a lot better the next morning.

If I don't do that, then the hangovers can last up to 48 hours and they are absolutely terrible.

All I want CJH to do is find something that works until it doesn’t. And then I want him to find the next thing that works. It’s called adjustments. Something that the previous staff failed at miserably.

HB wont start in this offense. He has 3 guys behind him with better arm talent that fit the mold of what Josh Heupel is trying to do. Going to be an interesting spring practice but my guess is he will transfer. Also to note. Josh Heupel recruited Brian Maurer. so there is a familiarity there.

Turning 33 today boys. Now when I sleep wrong, I feel it for a month. Can't handle mega spicy stuff anymore. Hangovers last four days... The end is near.

*if you don't like 33, you're really going to hate 45. 🤣

Happy Birthday and bless your heart, buddy. 🎂🙏

I disagree and think HB wins the starting job.

Nothing wrong with an Uber Driver. I would be curious about your profession given that you are obviously much better than them.

There were six of us in Vegas a couple of years ago and we used Uber quite a lot. On one occasion, our Uber driver picked us up in a Model X Tesla. That's the first and only time I've ever been in a Tesla but the experience was just as good as the limo's I've been in out there. The guy was really cool and was using Uber as a way to kill time because his real job was picking up and transporting whales for 3 casino's. He drives the casino's limos when transporting the whales but his job allowed him to own a Model X Tesla. Just because someone is a Uber driver doesn't mean that's their real profession.
