Not sure how LSU is viewed among coaches, but they filled both their coordinator spots with guys who've never called plays at a high level if I'm not mistaken. I wonder what percentage of coaches do well in their first stint calling plays
 
And look at the Pats without Brady (this year and the year he was injured).

And now he's led the BUCS to a super bowl at 80 years old haha. Look - love Peyton - and NOBODY can take from him what he did - but don't see how this is even disputable. If Brady had retired 5-6 years ago, then it would have been a decent debate. But TB has only solidified his place.
They went 11-5 the year he was injured with Matt Cassel, iirc
