I don’t bring info here anymore until it is brought up. I used to and got hounded so I don’t do it anymore. But once something is stated, I will confirm what I have heard as well. You can chose to believe it or not. Check my comments though on Too Too and Ansley. Brought those up way before anyone else.
Fair enough

So, I can't post a gif right now, but I was reading thru the last few pages of this thread, and immediately my mind went to that gif where Homer Simpsons dad (I think that's right) walks in the door, puts his hat on the rack, walks in a circle, grabs his hat, and walks back out the door.

(Edit: not directed at @ob79 ... I was typing my post when you posted - nor @JacketVol, as I still don't know what he's talking about, nor do I want to.)

Just describe gifs you want to post like this. Hahaha

What are you insinuating? Just say it.

Not insinuating anything. I'm stating clearly that the things that make a great player are different than the things that make a great coach. If an athlete struggled to get through school, he probably lacks certain skills that will be required of a coach. Josh Dobbs would make a fine coach. Cardale Jones, not so much. So when we state percentages of representation like that should apply to coaching, we are refusing to acknowledge the truth that many of these athletes lack skills critical to being a coach.

What makes Banks a strong candidate? I think we can do better.

Nearly 2 decades worth of DC experience, almost a decade of that in the Power 5 at two schools. Spent time in state, has coached a variety of positional spots in his career. Put a lotta dudes in the NFL as well.

Now that I've read a little more and realize he reason behind this post...

A few things and then I'm gonna dip.

1. I'd buy Bruin a beer, just to have the opportunity to spit in it before I threw it in his face. I'm you're Huckleberry.

2. Seculate all you want but my toes begin to curl when you question motive and character. I don't give a flying rat turd what your opinion of AV's insider status is, I've verified that with my own eyes. Talk on that all you want...but do everyone a favor and keep your personal opinions of him personally out of this board.

3. AV will return when he chooses, or he won't, but he won't be bringing info like before, at least for the foreseeable future. No, this isn't the result of any punitive measure. I'll let him speak on that if he wants to.

4. After my last two weeks, y'all are funny, arguing about this ridiculousness. None of this stuff really matters. Feels like all I've dealt with has been death for the last two weeks. I just don't care who the DC is right now.

5. I find it curious how someone (previously mentioned in this post) can continuously make personal attacks against another poster, and their motives, and not receive a ban.

Peace out, boys.
I have always defended AV. I know he is connected, and I know he has done a lot of really good things for people on VN...which in my mind, and should in any normal persons mind make him a good person.

But...I really hope he had nothing to do with the illegal benefits snitching situation. I personally have very strong feelings about the wrongness of that situation which I have stated since it first came up.

Some of the things he said here of his own volition...SEEM...to imply that he or his group had something to do with it.

I would never attack him over it because of the good he has done for people, and I believe that he is a good person, but I really hope he had nothing to do with it other than to cheer it on from the sidelines.

I know a lot of people here believed strongly that whatever it took was acceptable...but I was strongly against that idea from the beginning...I think it was immoral and dishonorable...two wrongs never make a right, it just makes everybody wrong

Anyways..none of this matters now, what is done is done. Av has been a good friend to many on VN, and I hope he comes back with info or not.

Just my two cents..which ain’t worth two cents.

I haven’t heard anything about pushing a diversity hire and I don’t go to VQ. I only come on this site. But, if you look at who we are targeting, it seems like more than speculation. Especially since I was told that Heupel likes Conklin and he would come.
Plowman mentioned diversity in one of her press conferences. It may have been when they were introducing DW as the AD hire. I do remember her mentioning diversity though and just thought it was the politically correct thing for her to say when talking about UT.
