I'm kinda disappointed that no one has mentioned the Laugh Olympics on Cartoon Express. If you dont know who the Really Rottens were then I feel sorry for your childhood.
Hanna-Barbera had the BEST cartoons. Scooby, Yogi, the Flintstones, the Jetsons, Dick Dastardly and Muttley, Huckleberry Hound, Snagglepus, Hong Kong Phooey, Top Cat, Auggie Doggie, Quickdraw McGraw, Grape Ape, Speed Buggy, Jabberjaws, and lots more I could think of if I wracked my brain. Seriously, those were just the ones that sprang immediately to mind.

So we counting this year as year -2 or what?

The way I see it is it will take 2 or 3 years to be back to a stable environment. Until then it's going to be a joke recruiting and dealing with sanctions. Just want us to be semi competitive this year and hope we can win some games

I'd say 35 is the floor, but we'll be higher than that. I don't cosign @Big Gucci Sosa's number, just the general feeling that this class will be bad.

I think we're going to win somewhere between 4-6 games, and I think we'll finish at like 22nd in recruiting.

We haven’t finished outside the top 25 since Fulmer’s last class (35th). If the offense looks decent and we don’t get hammered too badly by the NCAA (we should absolutely sue if we get worse than Ole Miss did), it’s a safe bet we’ll stay in the top 25.

this recruiting class is going to be brutal. 30-40
Haha not a chance. Everyone’s overreacting, including AP, about instate kids right now. Recruiting is about relationships and it’s understandable they’re behind with some kids, they don’t know each other. But those relationships will be developed and once UT scores 40pts a game and puts up W’s this fall things will change.

And even if they “miss” on some of these instate kids, there’s plenty of kids they do have relationships with that will jump in the ‘22 class.

UT is still a top tier program in the best conference with elite facilities and support for these kids and their families. Heupel will end up with a Top 20 class this year no matter what. If he finds a way to win 7+ games he’ll end up much higher. Predicting 30-40 is laughable, no matter the circumstances or who the coach is at Tennessee.

We may not see it in this year's class, but everyone who seems to know this stuff is saying that they are doing a great job building an infrastructure of recruiting with a lot of Tennessee ties in all the hires they announced yesterday. That should pay dividends down the road if the coaching staff can produce results on the field.

It's going to be 30-40. I bet you 10 likes!

Do it on the farting or BBQ forums, not the FF......Is there not a kiddie forum or an inane subjects forum for that drivel?

You’ve been on this board a whopping two months and are trying to dictate how the discourse flows?

Some of us have been posting on VN since the Fulmer (coaching) days.

Ease up on the expectations there new guy. Talk some 80s cartoons, forts in the woods, bbq restaurants, rasslin’ and so on...

And when Spring practice fires up, or big recruiting news hits, enjoy this place for the quick input of football related information that arrives

Exactly. He needs to just go full speed ahead with football. This might be a bad example, but he needs some Coach Cut to Erik Ainge kind of coaching. Ainge was night and day between 05 to 06. I think Maurer has a lot of tools to be a successful QB. He’s a very underrated athlete IMO.
I don't think anyone underrates his athleticism. That has always been his most redeeming quality. We worry about his decision making and ability to stay healthy.

Last I read, AP said we’d gained a lot of ground with Ty Simpson. Has he said anything to change that? If we land Simpson and some of these other guys hold off, I’d say we’ve at least got a puncher’s chance with many of them.

Your go to gif I have noticed......a bit lazy of you not to be more original but I suppose you are a good representative of the rasslin and dog farts contingent.......soldier on, my unimaginative friend

Well aren't you a pretentious fella.

It's BGS, are you really surprised he would make this prediction? The board was better without him.
