Same in Houston. 36 hrs without power and water and only the coldest days on record for 120 years. And any updates on the news is this -

i think Key Lawrence hit the portal after JH was hired? but i don't think anyone else did, to your point. and most all of the transfers out were non factors, or known to be transfer candidates, except for maybe Wanya, Key, Eric Gray. they were the 3 that hurt the most, and really Key was the one that mattered the most out of all them. by all indications, wanya and Eric both had some external factors impacting their decision to transfer. Key, not so much. that was a "don't wanna be here" move as far as i can tell. still waiting on whether or not HT and/or Crouch come back. there's not been much reason to think either will return though, so those two would hurt as well, they seem to be all but "official" transfers....?None since we got a new coach. All the transfers have occurred from the time of Pruitts firing. The remaining guys have been very positive on social media and appear to be happy with the change of atmosphere.
I got a chance to watch it and enjoyed it. Willie had once in a lifetime speed. He would be perfect fit for today’s game. And I loved the story about Reggie White and him not sharing his food. Thought that was pretty fun. I would like for Peyton to do an episode focused around Doug Atkins and Reggie. Probably would get a lot of streams on that.Did any of you all catch the most recent episode of Peyton’s Places? He had Willie Gault on there so it had some good UT content.
I don’t think video exists of this play...I’ve spent a good bit of time looking for it...does anyone know if there is video of the play where John Ward said, “Willie Gault, ladies and gentlemen, is running all the way to the State capitol”
It’s performed via a quick diagnosis of pre-snap space and then executed via a power run game inside or a one-on-one vertical shot outside.
From that this is what has me excited with Hyatt and Wideman it could be interesting. Honestly, I am glad we went outside the norm on a coaching hire. I don't want the status quo, with the hire of a SEC coaching veteran any longer.
It would be great to get a bunch of in state in 22 class, but this staff is experienced and will get players. Elarbee and Golesh can recruit, but even better they can coach and develop. Elarbee is the key in all of this. We have not had a good offensive line coach in over 10 yearsI don't disagree with your points long-term, I'm just not sure I buy it for the '22 class.
Those guys will hurt, no doubt about it. But I still think we have talent on this roster and my hope is some real coaching pulls out potential that was left to die last year. I don’t expect us to beat Bama, UGA, or Florida, but I think it’s reasonable for us to expect wins vs teams that we have better talent then, and that’s quite a few on our schedule. 7 wins and CJH will build some heup.i think Key Lawrence hit the portal after JH was hired? but i don't think anyone else did, to your point. and most all of the transfers out were non factors, or known to be transfer candidates, except for maybe Wanya, Key, Eric Gray. they were the 3 that hurt the most, and really Key was the one that mattered the most out of all them. by all indications, wanya and Eric both had some external factors impacting their decision to transfer. You can speak better to this by being so close to UCF, but I heard a podcast where the hosts were talking about Heupel's offense, and how basically you need a QB who isn't afraid to sling the ball around and also put his head down and rush for 6 yards. If the QBs aren’t good, we will stink.
We need to approach recruiting like Clemson..... be in the 11-17 range.... get solid football players sprinkled with a few stars and very few misses.... in a few years our recruiting will be top notch bc we will be a solid program. It would be great to get a bunch of in state in 22 class, but this staff is experienced and will get players. Yeah, if we don't get Simpson (and we aren't), it's very possible the in-state class makes a point to turn against us.
