Seems like throwing a flag for a player not appearing hurt enough could be spun the wrong. Potientally a player could be hurt but didn't want his team to be penalized and he could end up seriously getting injured the next play. That is super flipping easy, if a player lays down on the field, fakes it, then gets up and runs off, assess a 5 yard penalty and make them sit out the following play, that would deter a lot of it I feel like
Dual threats cover up more weaknesses, but on a great team getting the ball in real playmakers hands can't be beat (mac Jones or joe burrow would not be as good as Josh Dobbs was at Tennessee and vice versa).it’s just the Notion of wanting a dual threat Qb. It’s understandable people thinking we need that

So weird how fans just pick "the next QB" I mean despite how absolutely terrible Chaney was while here and how pathetic last season was nothing Bailey did makes me think he's not "got it"
Selfishly I'd love to RS Bailey/Salter and Hooker be the guy with Maurer as his backup. Just so going into 22 we'd have Bailey/Salter battling it out to be the guy with both having at least 2 years left. Not sure who the guy ends up being, but I think Harrison Bailey suddenly getting passed over is crazy talk.
Every coaching staff says it will build its offense around the roster. Every one.
The fact of the matter is Golesh said verbatim today that they prefer a running QB. So I would bet on Hooker or Salter being Day 1 starter.
Bailey, in his short time playing, also didn't seem to have the arm strength necessary to run an offense like this.
I'm not ruling him out, but like I said, I don't think he's the favorite.
Wait what lol who regressed in pocket awareness? Loli think it’s reasonable to be worried that last year set him backwards. He clearly had some really good packet awareness early on but regressed badly with extended playing time in that regard. He may have been thrown to the wolves too soon and have a hard time overcoming that
Not true about Baileys Arm strength lol. Kid has a laser and showed it on a few of his routes he had to fit in there.
He can also scramble when he has to. Picked up multiple first downs with his legs. None of the current QBs on the roster will beat him out.
