Look he’s the better favorite to be our starting QB on day 1 and that’s who’d I’d bet on. I just see plenty of reasons why I wouldn’t bet the farm on it and a slow release is one of them

I’m saying the notion that he has a “slow release” is ridiculous. Does the ball come out of his hand different sometimes yes. But when he needs to he gets the ball out of there. There are plenty of throws that you can go back and look and see him laser one in there. But doing that every single throw isn’t necessary.

I don't get the disrespect or whatever you want to call it, from either us or the staff. Dude was talking up Hooker and Salter and crickets when it came to Bailey.
Bailey will be the QB. He is mobile enough and has the accuracy. Watch his HS film. Do not blame him for the crap offense we ran last year

And if you got up early enough, you could see the cool cartoons that started off in Japan, like Speed Racer or G-Force/Battle of the Planets. Loved the Smurfs and Disney's The Gummi Bears, and Super-Friends, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, and I could probably go on and on listing cartoons. Scooby Doo has always been my favorite, but not a fan of some of the recent incarnations of Scooby. The old ones are the best.
Looney toons was the Goat.

You think Harrison Bailey is Drew Lock?

No, I think he is HB and Drew Lock was not DT either. The point is Heupel has run three different O schemes at three different schools - successfully. To pigeon hole CJH into only being able to run his most recent scheme is going with the what-have-you-done-lately narrative.

i think it’s reasonable to be worried that last year set him backwards. He clearly had some really good packet awareness early on but regressed badly with extended playing time in that regard. He may have been thrown to the wolves too soon and have a hard time overcoming that

He didn't regress one damn bit though, here's his game logs.

Those 2 picks against Arkansas were his coach/OC basically forcing him to throw deep balls into heavy coverage cause they didn't like him taking the check downs apparently.

Key was before JH. Nobody has entered portal since he was hired that I recall.

I wouldn’t worry about these in state early decisions. Kids are being advised to grab a spot early and they can change mind later. It’s scary with no visits allowed, no camps, unknown. So kids have to grab best spot available then worry about the real decision later. I’m pretty sure there were a more than normal amount of decommits all over country this past yr so obviously kids change their mind.

Really my only concern is the narrow minded Nashville group that has a poster making it pretty clear he plans to steer his guys elsewhere and not willing to even listen to new staff. Hopefully it’s only his opinion and not Bucks. Guy is basing negative view of JH on a covid season with 10 opt outs which is massive for group of five yet makes excuses for pruitts covid 3 win season. He hasn’t even looked to see it’s all one possession losses and one play here or there and JH could have only 1 loss which is his only double digit loss of his career
It always ticks me off when coaches or other adults, other than their parents, unduly influence players' college decision. They almost always have biases, ulterior motives, or not the player's best interest in mind. They should advise as requested, then butt out.

Seems like throwing a flag for a player not appearing hurt enough could be spun the wrong. Potientally a player could be hurt but didn't want his team to be penalized and he could end up seriously getting injured the next play.

I think the better way to approach it is to have the player sit out for a longer period of time after play is stopped for a injury. They could possibly have to sit for the remainder of the possession.
Something punitive has to be done. If a player leaves, he shouldn't be able to come back in for the same series. It could also have the added benefit of a player that is legitimately hurt getting more in depth medical care.

I am talking about the mechanics of his delivery. It’s slow

I understand what you are talking about. His mechanics change on the type of throw he is making. There are plenty of throws where he has a short throwing motion. There are other throws where he loads up, there’s throws where he even throws it sidearm.

He speeds up his throwing motion when he needs to.

Not true about Baileys Arm strength lol. Kid has a laser and showed it on a few of his routes he had to fit in there.

He can also scramble when he has to. Picked up multiple first downs with his legs. None of the current QBs on the roster will beat him out.
Some of the dumb crap said about him is either blatantly false or stupid.

Eh. There were times Bailey looked great. But in his limited play, he had the ball stripped multiple times because he either didn't see or feel the pressure or was unable to release the ball quick enough. I'm not too worried about that though. A good coach can fix those issues and teach him when to make a quick pass, when to throw away, and when to cut losses and pull the ball in.
