I was reading one of the letters my mom has from one of her ancestors who happened to be one of the 1st ministers to come over here to the "new world" just the other day. He was ordained by the King and writing to him going in great detail about their hardships with disease, lack of medicines and essential supplies, etc. Made me give pause and realize as crazy as this world has gone, we at least have it way better than the 1st settlers did in most aspects.
Poor guy still didn't understand kneeling after 4 yearsBrees is best recent example there is.
I think push ups are the best work out.
1) they’re free
2) they can be done anywhere
C) they work out the most important muscles—triceps, pecs, shoulders, and triceps.
5) biceps are lame and useless mainly because I can’t grow them. Triceps > biceps
B) incidentally works the core too
A little late to the party, but my take on this:
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Have tried to follow that verse and so have both of my adult sons.
Anyone else on here who teaches and/or coaches sees kids who are broken and angry by the time they get to us, usually because of a combination of hopelessness, fatherlessness, generational poverty and neglectful parenting.
Quiet time in the morning my prayer is to see the kids thru Jesus' eyes, as well as seeing others I encounter that way.
IF we attack these issues on a one to one individual basis and stop looking for the government or ESPN to tell us how to treat one another, we can start to do better as individuals.
Stop letting the internet raise your kids, love your wife as Christ loved the Church.
Sorry if this is too preachy. I'm far from perfect, just an old sorry sinner saved by His Grace. God Bless!!! GO VOLS!!
Is it awful that I am excited thinking we're going to put up big numbers on the cupcakes? Like I was expecting against Georgia State or Appy St.This is true. When you look back at his time at Mizzou, they didn't put up a lot of numbers against the good teams in the division. They even got shut down by Ky. But, Barry Odom was the head coach and we know he was awful. How much was he hamstringing the offense? You look at Heup's offenses at OU and at UCF, he put up big numbers against everyone. That LSU team they played in 2018 was legit on defense. He still put up 35 or whatever it was and moved the ball down the field with ease.
