Tennessee can't afford to match what other schools already have, plus it'll take years to get where they need to be. Other schools already have it ready to go. Hope I'm wrong, but Tennessee doesn't have the leverage here.

The wildcard for me in this discussion is Boyd. He's an minor league owner, so he probably considers himself a 'baseball guy', with that in mind does he work with TV to bring Lindsey Nelson up to par (or replace it altogether), or does he think TV is replaceable and he has avenues to bring in the next coach? I'm hoping he augments the current process, not decides to re-create it.

Meanwhile Kiffin’s speed on offense is about the same, his defense is worse than Heup’s, and Heup has destroyed him head to head twice

Tennessee can definitely afford what other schools do....money is not an issue...... the only issue Tennessee has is not enough room for the type of on campus stadium that they are wanting.....take care of him..... his assistants..... and start rolling with a plan and I think he will stay..... it’s not like he is not winning with the facilities he has now.

Lucky dog. Only negative is opening face-off isn't until 8:30 I believe. I do wish the sorry mayer of Nashville would go ahead and announce before then that they can go 100% capacity instead of this 12,000 crap. My sister and bil were at Sunday's game and said it sounded like 30000 in there.

I’m happy it’s a little later (as long as it doesn’t go to double OT again at least lol) so that I can have more time to get down there. My buddy, who I grew up with in Raleigh, is in town and we are doing down after we get off work. Late puck drop means more time to grab some beers downtown beforehand

Btw we've put together a mega camp for Eddie George who absolutely has no clue what's going on and UT will be in attendance we have prospects coming from all over the country. Heupel and crew will be here as well as Lane Kiffin and several other P5 schools. Just know we got it all under control and this will be a beautiful event

No one knows how this season is going to go. We’re talking long term in here. But he’s not going to win 3 games as you’ve predicted which is ridiculous

I remember someone saying that too, and as funny as that is, I doubt that. What kind of insurance salesman can you not find by Googling them? Unless he is just as incompetent at that job as he was as coach/bagman.

And he probably thinks he could win more with facilities. There's a reason urban meyer didn't stay at utah after he won 11 games a year there

Know what the difference in this game was? Memphis converting 5/5 4th downs. Which had nothing to do with Huepel’s Offense.

Otherwise Huepel’s team outplayed Memphis. (By the way they were out 10 starters because they opted not to play due to COVID)

I’m concerned about games like this. The score was way closer than it should’ve been. That TOP is awful
