plus just go and listen to Tony's interview with Swain. He was very careful to keep everything present. Made no mention of "next year", side stepped a contract extension question.. He's got one foot out the door if they don't figure something out.

Just what he should do-- focus on the now and maximize the postseason.

His agent will handle everything else, however it plays out.

Sorry bud but I got to disagree with ya here about Phil not being considered in the top 5. With the amount of PGA tourney's he has one (52), six majors and accomplish a feat of winning a major at 50 years of age that no one else has done in the history of golf and not be considered in the top 5 of all time.
He is not considered by hardly anybody to be top five all time. If you think so then that is ok...plus I think Phil has won 44 or 45 PGA tourneys..which is still great. Phil is firmly top ten imo.

Hagen, Hogan, Snead, Vardon, Sarazen, Player, Jones, Palmer...all those guys would be considered top five before Phil.

It's a bit more complicated than getting the money. UT earmarked upcoming TV funds for facility improvements. But Tony V has a specific vision for LNS. He sketched it out, and he and Fulmer refined it. Fulmer toured other stadiums, and they refined some more to enhance the fan experience within the current footprint.

TV funding is several years away, so donors came into play. Internal upheaval happened. Personnel changed. Plans changed. UT decided that the downtown stadium was a good solution. Tony V's vision hasn't changed-- just the players. Momentum slowed. They don't have project approval, final renderings, a schedule or a budget. Even phased, they have to know what each phase will cost to see what can be donor-matched and what can be funded from other revenue buckets. It's an involved process, with a number of players. It's not just the money.
I stand corrected..... kiss him goodbye then

If he wants to stay at UT, he'd probably be happy with a commitment to move forward on a phased schedule, with specifics written into his extension. The project stalled, and there's only so much UT can do to fast-track it now.
It sounds like we are handling it like we always do which is why we always find ourselves in bad situations...... hopefully, DW can handle this situation..... it’s his first real test.

They literally recruit the same. UCF never recruits higher than the 50's. In the years before Lane coached against Heup they were separated by about 5 spots in recruiting rankings. And in the 60's, who cares? They're the same. Heup out-coached Kiffin. period.
You're talking to the wall..the Kiffy slurpers will be Kiffy slurping till they die.

It's hard to believe they would turn down a...nevermind..😏

It's going to be fascinating to see how many so called Vol fans will be cheering for Kiffin when he rolls into Neyland this fall, and how many will be disappointed if he heads back to Ole Miss a loser.

So you are worried that they held their own against LSU….. a team they should of had no business holding their own against….. lol I’m so confused.
Exactly. He gives Heup no credit for destroying his hero Kiffin because supposedly UCF is such a better program than FAU. But then he gives Heup no credit for taking a backup QB who was terrible, and losing to LSU who is, checks notes, a much better program than UCF by only a touchdown. That LSU team would win the national championship the next year and Heup had a chance to beat them in the 4th quarter with a backup QB and he's using that as a negative.

His arguments make no sense because he is reaching and looking for reasons to hate on Heup.
