I've been a Braves fan since, Aaron, Boyer, Torre, Carty etc. The longest homerun I ever witnessed in person was hit by Torre at a game in the old Atlanta Fulton County Stadium. Don't remember the year or who they were playing, but he absolutely killed it. The crowd was fairly small that day and I'll always remember the sound of the crack of the bat when he hit it.
I start following baseball then, too. Late 60s, early 70s. And Clete Boyer was a great name for a baseball player.

Been at both ends of one of those a few times too..those situations are the biggest thing that I'm thankful for in escaping my former life...It was pure stupidity on a cosmic scale, and I am blessed to walk away from them without killing somebody or getting killed.

I give you credit, McGill. You don't call anyone names that you probably have not already called yourself, LOL.

My daughter is a competitive dancer. One doctor doing the abdominal exam asked what the hard masses were…my wife said that my daughter rolled her eyes and said that those are my abs…poor doctor is used to fluffy teenagers. 😂

Her core strength is incredible. One of her dance instructors had her class do a plank contest. They were disqualified if they didn’t hold perfect form. Instructor was out at 10 minutes. He ended it with my daughter at 17.5 minutes and she still hadn’t broken a sweat yet.
Dance girls are strong. My daughter's core is very strong also. Not sure if she could plank like that LOL.

Marquez Callaway makes big prediction for Vols at College World Series

“We going all the way. What type of question is that?” Callaway said. “We going all the way. I’ve got no doubt in them, so I’m tuning in watching. We watch it in the training room all the time and I tell them, them guys still going. I’m excited for them, happy for them, and like I said I’m waiting for them to bring it home. We need it coming home to Knoxville. They’re doing their thing, no doubt for it.”
Absolutely love this!!

12 team playoff is meh.

Make it a 32 team playoff. Play 9-10 regular season games plus conference championship. Then take the top 1 or 2 teams from each conference or however the NCAA determines the seeds for basketball, do the same. Whoever gets to the championship is still only playing 15-16 games a year so we would still be playing the same amount games.

Sounds stupid, but imo it gives more teams a chance to play for something rather than a meaningless Nacho Cheese Bowl. Would you rather have a sweet 16 or the Nacho Cheese Bowl?

I’m starting to think this kid stayed just so he could profit big time off our huge fan base. Lol.

Salter man, smh gotta chill

One problem we’re going to see here are issues like we just saw with Dwayne Haskins in Washington. It was said that Haskins was more worried about his brand than developing his skills and that’s why he fell out of favor with the Coaches. So I would tell a young man like Salter to not put the cart before the horse, and he needs to get in there and work hard to put himself in a position to take advantage of notoriety. It’s an old fashioned concept that means you aren’t given anything, you earn it.
