I'd say garner wants this level of work and commitment ‐-----‐
And Middleton and others level.of work and commitment is here ‐-----------‐‐----------.
Any injuries and we could be in big trouble. I know Heupel's an offense guy, but he's gonna have to seriously address defense, be it through recruiting or the portal. Our DL:
Dom Bailey
Blakely
Bumphus
Butler
Garland
Simmons
Big O
Terry
Tremblay
Solomon (for now)
That’s a lot of experience and a few guys with high potential. Glad we added Terry and Tremblay which makes losing Emerson and Middleton a wash
More or less how 247 explained it. It's about discipline and accountability and some of these guys weren't putting in what they should've been/what's being required. After all of his off season talk, I'm disappointed in the Middleton news. I had hoped he would put in the work. Not blaming the staff, I don't think they're at fault, I'm just tired of these players who feel entitled trying to coast and expecting it to be handed to them rather than getting out there and earning it.
I'm pretty sure I have never heard of Student-athletes paying taxes for athletic dorm and school supplied food.Far from tax free. Same as acedemic scholarships. Costs beyond tuition and related expenses are taxable - namely room and board and stipends for athletes, IRS doesn't care if you have an academic or athletic scholarship. If it isn't for tuition or books, taxes are due.
If I'm not mistaken it's illegal for a pro fighter to engage with a civilian like that.He started it. He pushed the guy. If the guy had pulled a gun and blew his brains out would that be justified? He didn't have to throw a punch. He'll make bank. His actions were totally unjustified IMO.
