This seems to be nearing a consensus at this point, outside of fan circles. Of course, this Fall everyone will have ample opportunity. Iron will sharpen iron...we'll have somebody at least adequate. Then we need to give that guy the opportunity to stumble, make mistakes, and grow.I actually heard today it was probably gonna be Milton.
Lol. Here you are spewing your garbage again.I don't really get that. If Heupel can turn around Drew Lock he can turn around Milton. He has the best arm and the most athleticism of any QB we have.
Meanwhile I think Harrison Bailey can be the guy, but I don't get the argument that he has to be the guy. Two good throws in the Spring game and a mediocre at absolute best freshman year aren't all that convincing to me.
I don't look at the ability to check the ball down as some high level skill. JG is not and should never again be the standard to beat. Two good throws? He was 12 of 16 for 260 (75%). As for last year (his freshman year) he was 48 of 68 for 578 (70% ). The first thing to jump out when watching Harrison play is he knows to check down to the TE or RB. You may want to re-watch his games. He doesn't have to be the guy, but I would bet he will end up being the guy.
