Did it ever cross your mind that if he doesn't start that maybe, just maybe, he isn't the best quarterback on the roster?

How do you know….. all we heard all spring was how he hadn’t looked that good….. not sure if the spring game changes that opinion….. Joe milton’s attributes fit this system much better than Baileys….. That being said….. I don’t care which one wins the job.

This is insane. Seven figures for a guy who hasn't played a snap!?! I mean Alabama's QBs have probably made seven figures for a decade now, but now that it's out in the open it just seems crazy to say out loud.

For anyone that is still obsessed with Lane lol. (Didn’t even mention Kiffin had a P5 QB transfer for both of those games btw)

Sure, but Heup has been doing this for 15 years, 2 Heisman winners, multiple draft picks, top ranked offenses as a HC and OC. Pruitt had never been a HC and it was too much for him. He’d be a DC at Bama today if not for the cheating.

Locke was 49% 4 touchdowns to 8 interceptions the year before Heup. Then what happened? I mean, it’s like questioning Peyton about offense.

If he says Milton is the best QB on the roster, then he’s the one we should all get behind

I have no doubt Hype knows what he is doing when it comes to offense. The thing I see in here is we have a tendency to jump to the next shiny toy that's comes to UT like Milton who hasn't proved anything anymore than HB has. Hype says some positive things about Milton and now everyone is jumping on the Milton band wagon. Looking at his film from last year at MI wasn't that all impressive. Having said that, do I believe Hype can coach up a QB, yes of course but he can coach up HB as much a Milton. If Milton wins the job then great I hope he's the second coming of Cam but I for one haven't given up on HB. He did better than any other QB that played last Spring. I will support and want the best QB on the field.

No way Milton is the guy behind the scenes. He's never taken a snap, in practice. The competition is still ongoing and will be through fall camp. I think it will be Bailey or Milton with Mauer as the Longshot.

HB is my #1. I just think the kid knows how to get it done. Incredibly accurate. Could easily be a Mac Jones, Kyle Trashhh, more traditional type QB. Really think he could put up huge numbers. Just not by being flashy. By executing at a high level. But, I’ll trust Heup. If Milton wins out I think we’ll be in for a show.

He’s gone through a lot and seems to have come out on the other side. He obviously is strong willed. I hope nothing but good things for him.

I tend to agree, but Idk if it’s very obvious yet. This year will tell us a lot. I’m not sold on Kiffin as a HC. One of the best OC’s no doubt. Heupel has a better demeanor and track record for a HC. Still a lot TBD though.
