No you assumed wrong again. He has still been the best QB we have put out there so far. You are posting things I haven't even said to fit your argument. Never predicted doom if HB doesn't start. I do believe you can make the case that none but JG got a fair shot last year. I still say HB so far has been the best QB we have put out there so far. Go back and read my post again and quit trying to put words in my mouth that I didn't say.

Everyone should re-read the question that led to Hype talking about Milton. Guy is smart and savvy.

The question in a simplified form was, "what was so bad about Bailey and the other QBs that you had to bring in a transfer in Milton?". Hype gives a positive review of Milton, while expertly dodging the other half, of which no good could have come from. He wasn't at all trapped by the question.

You played the quarterback position at a high level. You were an impact transfer for Bob Stoops at Oklahoma. I know you evaluate the position thoroughly. Talk about adding Joe Milton III, and what did you see out of your quarterbacks this spring, such as a Harrison Bailey, that made you want to add to the QB room this season?

It's better than college football, right now, imo. At least, the NBA has some parity, right now. Toronto and Milwaukee has won championships in the last 3 or 4 years. Every effing year in college football, everybody can predict at least, 3 out of the 4 playoffs team if u guess Bama, OSU and Clemson. Throw in, either LSU, Oklahoma, or Georgia and u probably get all 4 teams right. Talk about dogsh!t

I do believe with Hype we will see the best QB from the Fall practices.

He's seen and will see more. From Spring it sounded like a Hooker/Maurer race. Will be interesting to see how all did and will do this Summer and Fall and how Milton falls into that lineup and how quickly HB, the youngest of the bunch, can progress and possibly make a comeback from what sounded like a lackluster Spring.

I'm just happy to see some good competition and great potential come to fruition under THE QB GURU #TrippieRedd 😁

Neither Milton or Hooker were on the team last year, and none of these QBs has had significant time in what will be a new system. If HB wins the job, good for him. If Milton wins the job, good for him. If some walk-on who I've never heard of wins the job, good for him. Heupel will pick who starts. It's not a VN decision. We can all criticize afterwards. Who really cares who starts as long as we win??

Well, thank you, DEVO!!! That makes total sense and shows how we hear what we want to hear. Now let's have a QB competition for the first time in a long, long time.

A reporter asked a question about the QB competition and specifically asked about Milton. Heup mentioned all of Milton’s positive attributes (like he would about any other player), and now some think it’s Milton’s job to lose.

Nobody knows a damn thing though! Just a typical day on VN! 😁

What's really ridiculous is talking about numbers from any of these QBs prior to now. None of them have had the benefit of being coached by Heupel or playing in his system, and if he's the coach we hope he is, that matters.

Great league right now with so many up and comers. It's been cool to see Steph come up and dominate and now Giannis and Luka too.

Like you said...parity. It's a great thing to have.
