The conference overall would be a winner simply because it would bring in more money and wield more influence. The losers would be teams like ourselves that are trying to rebuild IMO. And TAMU would probably be hurt in recruiting as one of their selling points to Texas recruits is playing in the SEC. If Texas could sell the same thing, that could sway some kids. Other than guaranteed money, not sure how this helps Texas or Oklahoma in the long run. They play in a weak conference. Oklahoma has been dominating it for awhile. Texas has a chance to rebound and compete with Oklahoma. Seems like their paths to championships would be easier there. So who would be the winners and losers of the SEC if this happens
Money and Power. TX, OU, Bama would essentially set the rules in college football. The conference overall would be a winner simply because it would bring in more money and wield more influence. When all is said and done, I have to believe the key driver in all of this is the money.

Think I'll trust Heupel's opinion over yours.
totally get it Glitch. I played rec league flag football...I know Huepel's offense intimately.Besides years of experience and expertise in the area of college football and specifically quarterbacks, what makes his opinion so much better than mine. I mean I watched a couple of highlight videos and made a snap judgment and refuse to let my mind be changed. How are we so different?
Why would anyone want to get rid of Vandy….. They are like walk ons to a lot of programs….. Get a few with straight A’s and it makes the football team look like they are doing better academically…. Vandy gives teams an easy win, fairly strong in the other sports, makes conference look better academically.Mizzou could be coaxed away imo but Vandy is like Northwestern. Grandfathered in and lucky to be so.
