Those aged 30+ stuck in the past. That's the way I see it anyway.
I’m 28 and never want to see us leave the SEC. Even if we had a better record our team would be worse cause a lot of kids want to play “SEC football.” Literally no kid ever said they chose a school for the ACC

Personally, I don't give a rats @$$ about the Horns or Boomers. What I don't want to see is another lazy stream of money rolling into a lazy administration that's happy to just get along and cash the checks.

Ten more years of "We knew when he said britches that he was one of us" level BS.

Okay, we're expanding. You get to beat your chest and say... SEC... SEC. But, many of us couldn't care less about that crap.

Those 30+ are old enough to know this works in cycles. For different reasons, people cried when ark and USCar joined, people cried about ATM & Mizzou. Now there is crying about Texas & OU.
Scar, Arkansas are Southern States others are midwestern or western states.

Sorry I dont want them in SEC. but Sankey Panky doesnt care what we think.

I don't necessarily want OK or Texas, but seems like theyre coming in. I don't mind in the fact that it will make the conference stronger and our future success more legitimate.

Why is there such a pride to stay in SEC? Just because they we are a founding member isn’t a good reason. The only reason we stay is for the money, however there is no doubt our path to becoming a great program would be way easier in the ACC. Isn’t the whole point of football winning games and having a chance at the title game?
The whole point of football is enjoying it. Yes, I get pissed off when we lose, but I’d rather go against the best and fight to win than go against smaller opponents and sleep into a win. Except Clemson and ND (if they stay), most of the ACC would be like our OOC games.

“Lol what has changed” I’d say getting rid of the worst AD in history who shall not be named because of reasons on this board and the worst coach in UT history are pretty substantial changes
You obviously don’t know the inner workings if you think many of these decisions were on one AD. Last three have made terrible hires. You think it’s all on those AD’s?

You win the SEC, you are the defacto champion.
No argument there but we haven’t come close in over a decade, adding more heavy hitters makes it harder for everyone involved not just us while Clemson and Ohio state get to sleepwalk to the playoffs every year well rested and giving themselves a small chance to pull an upset to win the big one. College football needs parity and creating a super conference in a 4 team playoff makes it harder for all sec programs. This is only worth it if they make the playoffs a 12 team by in

And what has changed so much in our administration that we are all the sudden making great decisions? We just ratted ourselves to the NCAA, which is going to cause millions of dollars to fix. Unless we got lucky as hell with JH, I would be shocked if we even win an SEC title within five years.

So let’s just close the program. May as well if we stick with this mindset.

Or...we can keep trying to work at getting better. This administration is so much better than when someone like Mike Hamilton was the AD.
