Typically 5-8 days.
Hopefully that helps.

Immunocompromised can be up to 4 weeks…that includes infants with RSV.

*assist goes to Dr.Mrs.VolsDoc the pediatrician.
Thanks for the info, greatly appreciate the Dr.VolsDoc family! My 3 month old has it, but she is handling it better than I expected. She was diagnosed on Friday, but I believe she’s had it since Wednesday. She was given an Albuterol breathing treatment- which is working great. Again, thank you for the peace of mind.

I tested positive for it and have been fighting it these last 3 wks, only starting to improve these last couple of days. They say the young and healthy can shake it off like a common cold, but it hits harder the older folks. I am almost 66 so I guess that makes me an old 'un. Let us know if you get a better answer on when contagious.

Something to consider for those of us who may have tried adderrall (whichever amphetamine it is, etc.) as a college student, is as follows:

If I took adderall everyday and practiced gymnastics everyday for ten years, I would be able to back flip to the moon.
That stuff is performance enhancing for someone like me, who maybe is not adhd, or whatever.
Just a thought.
This have taken it as an adult for ADD and I can tell you, if you legitimately have ADD/ADHD it does not affect you that way.. You don't "back flip to the moon". It basically "lines you out" and helps you to focus better and not be so easily distracted. If you take it "recreationally", then yes, it will "jack you up" so to speak..

Unless I'm thinking about this all wrong - how many lost student-athlete scholarships does that equate to? If all those kids eventually transferred (successfully), and a school doesn't get a replacement signing spot - then it's a destroyed spot. 1 more HS kid that can't be signed, probably at the lowest levels.

On the other hand, giving schools a spot back would only encourage more movement (and pushing kids out) and madness, though it would save those "lost" scholarships too.

No great solution here afaik. Is what it is I suppose.

Wild. In 2011, I was in an argument with a guy at work that Tennessee still had a claim as a top 10 all-time program.

I used their top 10 standing in all-time AP poll appearances as one of my points to indicate historical relevance. It’s amazing what another bad decade of football has done to that data point.

Still pretty high up there, though!

Curious how many never found a home
Doesn't answer your question (posted in February, so too early to know how many found spots), but some interesting info:

portal numbers can be skewed. As many as one-third of those players are walk-ons, according to an SI examination of the portal. As of last week, only 964 of the 1,500 FBS players in the portal garnered a recruiting ranking from 247Sports (a vast majority of the other 500 are walk-ons).

Of the 964, nearly 60% (558) are uncommitted and still searching for a landing spot. The 964 players are split between those transferring from the Power 5 (557 players) and those transferring from the Group of Five (407 players). In a striking statistic, of the 299 Power 5 players who have committed to a new school, 60% took a step down in level, their next destination a Group of Five or FCS school. Just one-third of Group of Five transfers stepped up to the Power 5.

NBC just showed how two high jumpers were in a race for gold, but both missed their final jumps. Official comes over and says they will have a jump off. One of the jumpers asks if they can both have gold, the other jumper ecstatically high fives him, overcome with emotion. They are sharing the gold. NBC presenting it as an amazing moment of humanity. My first thought? What ****ing losers! You’re competitors. Neither one of you are injured. A jump off for Olympic gold makes for the biggest moment of any jumper’s career! How do you turn that down?!? What a phony gold medal. Ridiculous!

Which is one of the reasons no one is watching this mess.

It just hit me that it's been nearly 5 years since the Dobbsnail Boot. Fiiiiive years.

That was the last time I can honestly say I was really excited about the current state of the program. From the 2016 Vandy loss through all the Pruitt years were pure dread. We have averaged 22 ppg 2017-2020. Good for about 110th nationally.

Thank god there are brighter times ahead of scoring points, hail marys, and at least some good entertainment for our time!!

No more dread is simply blissful.
