In the beginning of this, and even now I have some real misgivings about it...I thought burning it all to the ground was a horrible unnecessary mistake, but I am not sure anymore. It really totally depends on how this rebuild goes...

Ok….. I thought you were insinuating it was bc of the fans…. I have talked to more than a few different officials that have acted like they were ready to give it up bc of the fans and it makes me shake my head every time…. They do need to add a bigger financial incentive and that might bring in better quality officials. I am thinking about getting into officiating when my kids graduate but I still have a few years to go.

Unruly fans might be the final straw. Most fans are respectful and appreciative when the game is over but as most things the vocal minority are the ones that should be talking the least. We could use all the help we can get. As you can see we accept all shapes and sizes from 18-65+.

Danny white makes me feel better bc he seems to definitely know what he is doing….. we will see how long this thing goes and what our punishment is….. I am much more hopeful now though.

Better for the local economy to have full crowd Saturday games rather than partial crowd weeknight games. A bad team vs an abysmal team doesn’t move the needle much for television especially when there are multiple other games underway at the same time.

Competing against basically one good game (OSU MINN) instead of being on espn8 on Saturday. Will also be on all the sports center reruns.

Right scary lil UT lmao. LSU still tells the NCAA go to hell and Will Wade is still coaching and winning just like most of the coaches named in that scandal.

I've read the Will Wade thing is taking so long because it's also an FBI case. Plus, they seem to keep finding more dirt. But it is truly amazing he's still coaching. The question is how badly they'll punish all parties by the end, not how they are skating by so far. Guess we'll see...in another year or whatever.

Who cares if he purchased them. That's what you and many don't get. The money game is a part of recruiting. It's what ultimately gets teams over the hump. Ask Auburn in the Cam Newton sweepstakes that they won, Fla, FSU, Bama, OK, tOSU, UGA, etc if you're in the playoffs you paid somebody. Bottom line is when he had guys he put it all together nothing fraudulent about that at all. Saban, Urb, Kirby, Lincoln, Jumbo, all go get guys because like the late Bobby Bowden said it's all about the Jimmys and Joes and very little Xs and Os.

Curious - you said we haven't been cheating like the rest in a long time. Not even Pruitt and his mcdy's bags? That would be depressing. If Pruitt couldn't even cheat like them, who will?

Sounds like all we can hope for is NiL to give us a leg up somehow. Don't see us cheating too hard any time soon...doing things "the right way" UGH.

Just throwing this our there - couldn't we just hire a hire a hoard of private investigators to track and document uga, bama, uf, etc cheating? If they're even half as sloppy as Pruitt, it shouldn't be hard.

it’s completely ridiculous our fans(DE1) are so ignorant that they keep bringing up a program in LSU that is still under an NCAA investigation let alone an FBI investigation and try to use that to compare to our situation like we are going about it the wrong way when they haven’t even been ruled on by the NCAA. I mean what basis do you have to stand on? Did you want the university to stick by Pruitt when the whistleblower was inevitably going to the ncaa if we didn’t act first…lol Pruitt is trash compared to Will Wade so LSU is going to live with those consequences and they will most likely be severe. Please stop listening to de1conly he has no clue what he is talking about and is mad the coaches are not going to give him a dime for his scam football camps being taught by over the hill wannabe athletes.

Again @Weezer we didn't hv so much love but what we do know is he's a national recruiter that kids love. That's why he's been NROY more than once. What we will say and continue to say is the way it was handled here to get out of paying popcorn money is Bush league as hell. Pay the bread and be done with it vs helping the NCAA punish the school while paying attorneys long money.

Yep….. Auburn and cam Newton is a much better example…. Got busted paying him 250,000 dollars and was punished with a national championship.

Speaking of next week, who do you all have between Nebraska or Illinois? Absolute massive game for Frost and Bret Bielema’s first game.

Pulling for Nebraska. Football is better when they are. Besides...somebody has to stand up to OSU eventually. Harbaugh isn't going to get it done.

Also interested to see UCLA and Kelly Y4. Looks like their offense started firing on all cylinders last year, buy defense was trash.

Should be intriguing to watch both programs/coaches this year. I'd be shocked if both come out the other side.
